Default Question - If I were to try to trade up for a card I really want what would you do?

I have seen members on do this or try to do this before. I have always wanted an Albert Pujols auto as I love to follow him and collect his cards. I was wondering what blaster box you would buy to get the most value out of so that I could try to trade/sell up for a Pujols auto. I was thinking maybe Allen and Ginter but not for sure.

By the way check out luariontj's thread! He is making great progress towards his Ken Griffey Jr. PSA 10 RC

I know but I think it would be funner with a blaster......

These are a couple blasters I have been thinking about:
2012 Topps Allen and Ginter
2012 Bowman
$20 Repack

i would say that the $20 repack will be your best bet, it seems like the value out of those have been pretty good.

save the money you would spend on a blaster and save up to buy a nice pujols you probably would get one quicker, blasters are very hit or miss.

I would not waste the money on a blaster or a repack. Use the money and buy a card you think you could resell or trade. If you really want to gamble your money I would just take the $20 to a casino and use it there. Odds are much better on a slot machine then on a blaster box, js

Maybe don't advertise the "trading up" aspect of the mission so much, as collectors might be weary you're trying to deceive them?
