Default Who would you take? Ryan or Flacco

From here on out, who would you rather have on your team?

I refuse to answer this question because if I give my answer I will be called a homer. So I am going to go with Matt Ryan. wink wink

Flacco. I can't even say "Matt Ryan" without yawning. He's got all the choke of Tony Romo with none of the excitement. Even in his best games, Matt Ryan can't excite me. Flacco has also proven himself to be able to handle pressure and come up big when he needs to. He impressed me this season.

Some QB's stats' are more impressive than their wins. These guys are "Peytons"

Some QB's wins are more impressive than their stats. These guys are "Eli's"

Ryan is a Petyon

Flacco is an Eli

I take Flacco because I'd rather see my team win ugly than choke in the playoffs year after year.

This.

Flacco wins playoff games.

Ryan squanders playoff games with White/Jones/Gonzalez at his disposal.

This sums it up for me. Flacco gets my vote.

I think it is very close, but I have to go with Flacco. He has proven a lot more in the postseason than Ryan. Flacco has already won 9 playoff games in his career (including a Super Bowl win, of course) and he has won at least 1 playoff game in each of his 5 seasons so far. That is pretty darn good.

Ryan has a little bit better career numbers, but only 1 career playoff win.

If I was starting a franchise, I'd be happy with either of them. However, Flacco gets the nod.

I voted Ryan but now that I think of it, I don't know anymore. Both quarterbacks have solid offenses. Very good running backs, Good Tight Ends and probably the top 2 tandem wide receiver sets in the NFL.

Flacco will make more money so I'll stick with Ryan I guess.

No doubt Ryan has more weapons at his disposal but his defense is also worse than the Ravens .. I would Take Ryan

I dislike them both, but Flacco won a Super Bowl. Matty Ice can't do a lot in the playoffs. My pick is Joe Flacco

Both would make a good backup
I'd pick Matt Ryan.

Bad question
Flacco- Superbowl MVP, Most TD passes in 1 postseason, Winningest Playoff QB on the road of all time, Only QB to lead team to playoffs in first 5 years
Ryan- Nothing

I think most people forget that Flacco does have Smith and Boldin and some good TE's. It isn't like he's throwing to scrubs.

And while Ryan hasn't done well in the playoffs this year was on the Falcons Defense.

The question is who would you rather have on your team. So I take it as a fantasy draft where you either take Flacco or Ryan and not the current teams they have/are on?

I would take Ryan, to me he is the better QB, might not be the better winner but the better QB.

And for those saying Flacco gets it because of his Superbowl ring, did you guys not see Boldin save his arse on most of the passes to him?

Flacco was throwing against some great secondaries in the playoffs
