Default Triple Threads discount packs too!

Here in MA, Newbury Comics is doing a one-day 35% off sale on everything in the store, so I decided to pull the trigger on some 2012 triple threads packs I had seen several months ago. At $58/each, not a bad deal. I managed to get 3, and one of them had one of the best hits I've ever pulled. (Too bad it doesn't count for the hit contest...

The big one is the 1/1 WHITE WHALE Triple auto/triple jersey of Yoenis Cespedes, Jesus Montero and Mike Trout!

2nd hit was a Andrew McCutchen Auto/Jersey with the Jersey spelling "Pirates Pride". I see a lot of these listed as "12 swatches", but I think it is one big swatch covered with some die cut letters. 11/18

Third hit was a Yonder Alonso bat & jersey auto 14/50 (on card auto, not sticker)

Minor hits were three GU cards: Matt Kemp jersey 01/36, David Freese jersey 15/36 (white swatch, obscured by flash), Bobby Doerr bat 34/36.

McCutchen, Alonso, Freese & Kemp are all available for sale or trade.
I collect Red Sox & Orioles, Pittsburgh for Football, and non-sport series like: Battlestar Galactica, Jericho, Walking Dead

Please comment with any ideas of what price I should aim for on the white whale.

(posted this before in the general baseball section)

Loved Cespedes' sig before he abbrev'd it. Happy I own one of his original sigs like this one.

No. Its never good to get them they kill the surface grade if you do just send it to have it labeled authentic and auto graded...

thanks, I'll just keep in in a little card box then. No doubt on the signatures, being from Topps.

why is the 1/1 in a team bag with no protection, instead of a penny sleeve and top loader or one touch. The corners are going to look horrible in no time

that's all I had in the car, it's in a one touch hard case now. (It's too thick for a penny sleeve)

Well the 3/3 version of that card sold for $500 on ebay. You might be able to squeeze a couple hundred more out of it.

Someone is telling me that this is a printing plate, but the signatures are real, so is it? Are there 3 other ones of this out there with the different color plates?
