Default 2008 Sport Kings Series B 3 Box Case - Cut and Ticket

Never opened SK before, but BO had these on sale for a good price, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Base:
Oscar Robertson
Summer Sanders
Pele
Nadia Comaneci
Bruce Jenner
Jacque Plante
Bobby Hull SOLD
Nancy Lopez (x2)
Joe Montana
Randy Couture
Jean Beliveau
Payne Stewart
Ben Hogan

Minis:
Georges Vezina
Ozzie Smith
Arnold Palmer SOLD
Seattle Slew

Memorabilia:
Jean Beliveau Singe Memorabilia Silver /30
Bo Jackson Double Memorabilia Silver /30 SOLD

Memorabilia Autograph:
Nancy Lopez Silver /40 SOLD
Tony Perez Silver /20 SOLD
Ozzie Smith Silver /40

Autograph:
John Elway Silver /30

Bigger hits:

Triple Memorabilia jersey of Sawchuk/Roy/Brodeur /10

Admit One Redemption for a ticket from a 1956 football game between Syracuse and Army.

Arthur Ashe Papercuts Autograph 3/4

Overall I thought this was a good case. The cuts and the ticket redemptions are hard to get, surprised to get two in one case.

Everything is FS, except for the Elway autograph. I'll be putting the rest on ebay. Probably going to send in the redemption unless someone blows me away on an offer for the card.

Not too bad at all, congrats! I'm still whinning about my 18 box case I bought in November and would have to say your 3 box case had better hits than my 18 boxer

Just looked up your case and all I can say is ouch. Definitely makes me rethink getting another case down the road. I knew I was lucky to get a ticket, cut, and a PC Elway auto in one case, but it looks like I was really REALLY lucky.

The problem I have with SK is the resell on the football, baseball and basketball players. Your case had a lot of great players from those sports, but they just don't sell for what the licensed cards do. Hockey and the other sports sell well though, it's too bad collectors from the big 3 don't take to it as well.

Anyone know if all the big cut autographs have been pulled yet?

Well if it helps, mine was the worst case ever in the history of SK

You beat the odds for sure. Though I don't think the ticket cards go for all thet much.

Matt Wheeler will probbaly chime in on which of the better cuts are still available. I know one of the guys on here hit the JFK about a year ago

Definitely the worst I've ever seen, although some of the series E breaks I saw were pretty bad. I looked at about 10 3 box case breaks before I ordered, if I saw your master break I probably wouldn't have ordered. Glad I didn't!

Yeah the tickets don't go for much. I'll probably just keep the ticket and display it with my little collection of signed balls and mini-helmets.

I just now ran across this break. I primarily search for "sportkings". With that word nowhere to be found, I never saw this thread.

If you still have the ticket redemption and want to sell it, send me a PM.

Congrats on your case!
