Default I think UD employee's are disgraceful for this....

Curious what others think...

Upper Deck's President presented 125 employee's with a set of UD exclusive pruple PMG's....

Upper Deck Surprises Employees with Special Trading Cards | Upper Deck Blog

what did the employee's do? This... (you can find a lot more searching the single athletes)

purple pmg /125 | eBay

If someone gives you a gift.. should you be selling it on eBay within 24 hours like that? I personally have a lot of distaste for the people doing this.. curious what others think.

Maybe they really hate UD and just care more about making some $$$?

Just a hunch....

It isn't a gift when it comes from an employer, it is a bonus.

Why the fark should you give a damn what others do with their property? Thread fail. Also, major grammar fail concerning the title of the thread.

How dare they. Those gems should be treasured and passed down for generations.

Nah, didn't you know that all those Wall Street guys get their $2M bonuses in cash and put the bills in toploaders and stick them in a closet out of a sense of sentimentality? When employees' options vest they never sell, they exercise and hold the shares until they die.

Find out who had 29/125 on the base and CALL THE COPS, IMAC!!!!!!!

I can't believe they don't want to hold onto some worthless inserts. What a bunch of jerks.

Topps did it in 2001, and employees put it on eBay, not sure what the big deal is?

If you are given a gift that you really don't need or want, you can't sell it?

Unless they were specifically told they are not able to sell them, I don't see the big deal. It is similar to re-gifting or selling something at a yard sale.

Even on Upper Deck's own blog, it mentions that it will be on Ebay. I see no problem with this.

technically calling them "employee's" is correct. They work for Upper Deck.. hence the ownership rule in a ' applies to the spelling. They are UD's employee's

You meant to say UD employees (plural) are disgraceful. You failed again.

Oh Jeremy.....Per usual you are wrong. If you wanted to state who the employees belong to you would have typed UD's employees because the employees belong to Upper Deck.

In addition you are 100% wrong to state that it was scummy to sell these cards. If one of those employees offered them to you first are you telling us that you would not sell them?
