Default Did anyone else see this?? -- Dahl Superfractor Auto

Holy crap -- BIN $750. I wonder how many seconds this was listed. Now the guy who snagged it has it up for $8000/BO. Guy didn't even have "chrome" in the title. I guess it does pay to stare at eBay all day and refresh the newly listed screen.....

poor schmuck...really, why is someone busting cases of draft and not at all cognizant of the value of what they are pulling? or they should at least do some research!

Damn I search through those all the time. once i made a guy an offer on a super auto and he countered me really low. i couldnt believe it but when i opened the counter someone had already bought it for 300 more. lesson learned on not checking back in fast enough

the seller said it has a really bad conner but I doubt it would make a big difference he also said it paid for the case

A couple years ago someone listed the Miller Superfractor autograph for $1500 BIN, bought by someone else, and in no time was listed at auction and sold for $3400 or something. That must have stung like a bitch watching that listing.

Probably $3K. I contacted the guy selling to get an idea of what he's looking for -- he wants more.

He's really not. He's currently ranked 71st on MLB's prospect list. He missed pretty much all of last season to injury and was ranked 94th last season. Why ANYONE would pay over $500 for this card blows my mind, let alone thousands.

I think a lot of them oversale just because of the type of card, not the player. I think there are people who just want to own a super-auto regardless of the players potential, and will overpay to do it. Dahl will be average at best IMO.

True. BUT from what i've read Dahl has some major potential to break into top 50 by midseason grades. I keep seeing his name in B. Prospectus' chats, and most of those guys are pretty high on him.

One of those really high risk/high rewards guys i guess. But yeah, at this point, thousands seems excessive.

Yeah, I don't see much on the reward side unless he turned Into trout overnight. Reminds me of Andrew luck. He signed 22,000 rookie cards and his cards are way up there. Unless he wins like three superbowls they will never go up.

That's the beauty with prospecting you set the price for upside/ceiling.

If dahl suck next season then the seller win, but if dahl become the next mike trout then the seller lose big time.

All of these superfractors go for an insane amount of $$.

The Almora superfractor sold best offer, with an asking of $8k. Soler sold in auction for $3k. Castellanos $2,600+ BIN. JP Crawford $1,926. Love it or hate it, these cards sell for mucho dineros!

If someone sold the Dahl red for $1050, that is right in line with the most recent Almora red sale.

Dahl is raw, but has a ton of upside. He is still only 19, and I believe Puig was ranked in the 70's this time last year...

And @callou2131, if Dahl turned into Trout overnight, this card would be worth at least a few times the current asking price...

Someone is asking $12,555 BIN (no B/O) for the unato'd Starling Bowman Chrome Superfractor.

Just my two cents on this card.

It's awfully unlikely anyone becomes the next Trout.
