Sad news. An icon in the movie industry. RIP, Harold Ramis.

Edited to add Ramis quote: "Sean, you're my same height, that is neat."

I said the same thing about GB 3 when I first read that. Now it will either never happen or it may finally be a go.

Ramis was the driving force in getting the project going. It was suppoused to be a passing of the torch movie to the next generation Then came the reboot rumors.

Who knows where it is going to go now.

He played a big part in creating Groundhog Day, which is one of my all-time favorite movies.

Very sad. He was highly involved (writer/director/actor) in so many classic comedies from the 80s.

Caddyshack
Animal House
Vacation
Ghostbusters
Stripes
Meatballs
Back to School
Groundhog Day

What a loss

Sad to hear, genius comedy writer. Really hate to hear of his passing.

This is very sad news. Groundhog Day is one of my favorite movies of all time. Any time it comes on TV I go into a vegetative trance, like Elaine's desperado guy from Seinfeld.

If anyone hasn't seen a movie on this list, take the time to do so. They're all "classics"
