This is why Sportkings is such an incredible product. I had never heard of Henry Armstrong before. I'll admit that I'm ignorant when it comes to boxing and hockey knowledge. SK has introduced me to so many legendary names. Had Armstrong never been in this product, I wouldn't have known facts like...

- In 2007, The Ring ranked Armstrong as the 2nd greatest fighter of the last 80 years.

- or that he's the only boxer to hold three world championships at the same time.

- He also defended the Welterweight championship more times than any other fighter.

Sure, I've heard of Wilt Chamberlain, Muhammad Ali and Jack Nicklaus. I've even heard of War Emblem. But then there are the other names that I had either never heard of, or had heard of them, but don't remember exactly who they were or what they did. I do a quick search and WOW, I had no idea that sports figure was that special.

Did you know they had Meadowlark Lemon's auto and memorabilia in a previous release?

Did you know box prices are 1/3 what they were last year? I know it still won't interest some collectors, but I wanted to make sure you knew it's a lot cheaper to buy a box of SK this year than it's ever been.

Good luck to everyone that's busting and/or collecting this product this year.

1/3 the price and dont forget to mention for that price you may pull just a crappy gu card.

Amazing a regular joe like mwheeler releases the checklists for them...No one buys this story still right?

Do I need to post links yet again how you know very little of what you talk about? Sometimes you know nothing at all.

Seriously, I can prove it again for all to see in case someone missed it from before.

Isn't this because this years version only has 1 hit and 4 base unlike last years which had 3 hits and 6 base?

Is this their response to make the product more accessible to the average person? Kind of like an Ultimate product in recent years.

By the way, Blowout has it listed for release on July 28th and I'm going to get some but I'm not sure yet how much.

Nooooo! Don't press that button. The Glass Elevator may not be built to withstand the trip out of Kansas.

Curly Neal is an awesome selection for the set. I was mesmorized by the "real" Harlem Globetrotters when I was a kid.

Yes, less cards per box. It would be impossible to have last year's box make up and charge 1/3 the price without losing a ton of money as a manufacturer. The cheaper boxes will allow more people the opportunity to purchase this product. Each box is guaranteed to have a hit, with two out of every three boxes having an autograph. Hopefully it will go over well. I think it will.

The release date is July 15th. I would imagine BO will be updating this before July 15th.
