I don't see Webber making the hall any more than Penny or Shawn Kemp. All great players, for a window of time....I will also say there are some guys who are in I think are questionable.

I voted "Yes". His collegiate career (Fab 5) coupled with a pretty darn good nba career (5 time all-star, 20 & 10 for majority of career) was hard to overlook.

Mitch Richmond did. I don't see how Webber couldn't

In a world that Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond, Joe Dumars, and Bernard King make the HoF, Webber most certainly will.

Should he? No. But it's not the Hall of Fame - it's the Hall of Very Good, and he definitely meets that standard.

What are his personal achievements?

The only highlights i could think of was his behind the back dunk on barkley it was back in his warriors days. Kings? I think jwill will always be remembered on that one but they are a heck of a full team back then

To be fair, Webber had a better career than both those guys.

I think he's a tier above Kemp and Penny, and maybe slightly below Grant Hill, who I think is a Hall of Famer but might end up waiting a couple years. I think if Webber hadn't called the phantom timeout at Michigan his chances would be stronger, but that moment and the series with the Lakers have stamped him as a loser in the mind of most fans. The talent was there, the numbers (including All-NBA teams) are arguably there, but the signature moments are what's missing.

Loser vs the stacked lakers? You mean he lost due to rigged game? You mean he lost due to the lucky shot by Horry? You mean his career is lowlighted by his infamous timeout?

Come on. Can't be serious.

Slam magazine ranked him as the #64 player of all time. Unless your Hall of Fame stops at 60 players, he is a lock. THE HOF is already full of players worse than Chris Webber.

Definitely in the HOF. Very good pro career but his teams at Michigan were iconic.

It's not about game stats, although his are very good.
He lead the Fab Five.
Won ROY.
Took the Warriors to the post season as a Rookie.
Changed our view of the power forward, added to what Charles did.
Then turned the Bullets into a winning team, not sure if they went post season.
Then took the Kings to the Finals, to lose to LAL.
Did he ever play on a losing team ? I dont think so.
I'd like add that he was the man on every team, never a role player.
He is a HOF and will be a top 75 if they add 25 more players to the fifty in 2022, I think that is the year.

He will inducted into the Hall Of Fame eventually, the career achievement is not only from NBA careers only, the whole contribution into Basketball sports in general (NCAA, sportscasters etc)

He was a great player, only at his time the competition was so tight.....

100% YES!!!

I'm amazed at how many have no clue on here.

It's a shame he missed so much time from injuries otherwise his totals would be greater.

C. Webb was amazing, won games at GS, went to WAS and got them to the Playoffs, then on to Sac and took them as far as they've ever been and yes they were robbed against LA but also blame D. Christie, he threw up a stinky game 7.

I put C. Webb above Kemp and Penny easily.

Imagine Webber and Payton together? Wow.

I voted yes.

I think he will get in eventually. He was a damn good player, especially his Kings days.

Absolutely in my book. He was a phenomenal power forward that probably should have won at least one championship. Freakishly talented and a blast to watch play the game.

Joe Dumars won two rings, a Finals MVP, 4 x All Defensive First Team, numerous All NBA teams, 6 x All Star, All Rookie First Team. Give the guy a little bit of credit.

I think you could make a pretty decent argument for Webber making the cut eventually.

definitely vote YES.

he's one of the ringless all time greats..
no matter from which perspective u're lookin: stats, hype, on and off court achievements..
despite the controversial college career and injury problems.

and have personally seen members of the HoF with less 'eligibility', hence dont see any reason why CWebb cant be.

He also was a Mcdonalds All American, Mcdonals All American Game MVP, Gatorade National Player of The Year, #1 Recruit, and help beat the USA Dream Team in an exhibition game.
