Default questions about ttm and ip

I haven't sent cards thru the mail before..i have sent 8x10 photos....when u are sending cards...do u do non machinable with 2 stamps on each envelope?...or what do u do...photo corners...toploaders?

for in person..what is ur favorite choice of pens for cards?

and for cards like bowman chrome do u do any prepping on the cards?

1. I write "Please Do Not Bend" on the envelopes but use a single stamp on each envelope. When I initially started sending out TTMs I used to put the cards in a pennysleeve but after getting a few smeared cards back I stopped and simply folded my letter of request around the cards and haven't had any issues.

2. I know some people prefer Staedtler pens but I've always found blue sharpies to be the best option... they're cheap, easy to source and are less finicky than the Staedtlers.

3. Definitely prep the chromes. I lightly scuff the surface with a pink eraser but other people rub them down with baby powder and that seems to work well too.

For in person graphing I like the blue sharpie or the prismacolor silver marker it looks great on photos or jerseys in my opinion. I would stay away from black as it tends to faid.
