Well this triple auto makes sense, but.... looks like more stickers! Meaning plenty of people who make customs could make one of these at a fraction of the price that this well sell for. But at least these guys all should be on a card together! Would be nice if they had cut Alec, Hamill, and Prowse triple!

its a bank account, that you put money into in the hopes of saving it for something in the future.

Like a huge order of star wars masterworks cases

Yeah Topps is like a drug dealer giving you a taste and then hooking you.
We complain it is too much, yet we keep buying.
We say we are going to quit, but then when the next product comes out, we eat it up!
Goodbye kids college fund! LOL

If a set screamed for a Rey auto, be this one.

I agree, Topps seems to be adding 1 big name per new product.

Evolution is Snoke.

Would love to see Kylo Ren for Chrome FA

and then Rey for Masterwork would be the perfect cherry on top!

On the fence with this one. Hopefully Topps doesn't over produce. Checked Blowout and not seeing any pre-order pricing. Anyone know what a case (8 boxes) should run?

Keep in mind when Masterwork released you could easily get boxes for under $200. Then it absolutely exploded. If the price gouging for TFA Series 2 based on Series 1 is any indication, I think this will start at $250 a box from most sellers.

What was the original price of a 2015 case, BEFORE the price increases?

When does Poe get a shot? Seriously he'd be huge, not just for being Poe but for being Apocalypse.

It was like $150 direct, so guessing this will be a little higher direct, say $160 or $175.

It was fairly easy to get prior to release at $200 or even slightly less.

Prices got as high as $300.

Did I read that right? 70 signers?

That's a whole second set of cards all by itself!

And three different relic cards ... nice!

70 signers is crazy...I thought the 40 were hard to chase. I hope they number these, like A-1 through A-70. It would make things easier to keep track of.

Masterwork was what got me into collecting SW autos. I chased the set and ended up with 38. Missing the Ford and like everyone, the Sloan.

I'll pick up the new additions this time around for my PC, but doubt I'll get any boxes this time around. With 70 autos its going to be too big of a crapshoot.

My thoughts exactly. I'm going to stay away from this product and the hype. price gauging drives me nuts - and i'm guessing it's going to be a massive set.. not like the first set.

Oh, cool. You'd have to be able to secure about 10 cases, at cost, with near perfect collation (based on how autos fell in series 1) to build a base autograph set. Seems reasonable. pffft! As noted above, people will get wrecked on this with that deep of a list if having to purchase at $80-$100 a box over direct, once the hype and gouging begins on presales.

I love people shitting on the auto list being 70 strong.

I seem to rememeber the SKETCHES selling masterworks one even more than the autos.
It's called Masterworks for a reason.

Sketches saved a box or two for me. I just don't collect them. However, given the recent policy of repeating sketches I think I'd be more concerned with sketch quality than I would the auto list.

And it wasn't called Masterwork because of the sketches. Masterwork is a term that applies to anyone's masterpiece, be it art, literature, etc. The use of "Masterwork" in this is to imply it the pinnacle of Star Wars products...nothing to do with only sketches.

Not all sketches were great. I only opened 2 boxes and could not get $20 out of either sketch. Definitely a product you want to bust by the case for any return.

The wood sketch card idea was one of the better ideas Topps has ever come up with. Even an average sketch on a wood background sold for a very nice amount!

My sketches were abysmal. Not worth the 275. They have a massive auto list because the product is going to be massive - JUST like they did with Marvel Premier 2 (2014). Expect sketches to be less quality.

In any event - we can expect one thing good to come of this. This falls in line with the Jusko Marvel Masterpieces release date. Hopefully this gets hyped so hard everyone forgets about MM Jusko, and I get my boxes cheap as a vegas hooker
