Has anyone here ever done cross grading to BGS from GAI, what were the end results?

Dont do it, GAI is the worst grading company.

GAI = Where shaved cards go to get a grade

I got a good laugh out of this ^^, stick with BGS for sure.

I sent in a GAI 5 Jordan RC to PSA instead of BGS and it came back a 4.

Older GAI cards were graded on par with PSA and BGS in the beginning. I wouldn't touch any new GAI and even older GAI would still be a gamble since it's hard to know when they went rogue. Check out the card really closely and I'd assume cards graded 7-9 would be the most likely to not be trimmed/altered. If there is a perfect looking 1986 jordan in a GAI holder, I'd stay far away.
