Here is a pic of the card I missed tonight. It was a Probstein auction.
Finders fee if anyone sees it pop up and gives me a heads up! If you won, I'll pay double+ ... huge PC need. If you're into trade, I'll trade heavily in your favor. I have the rest of the full rainbow, minus the plates. My internet AND phone took a crap minutes before it ended.
I appreciate as many eyes as possible. Thanks in advance!!

I'm in a similar boat man. I missed out on a 2012 Andrew Luck Topps Chrome Red /25 tonight that was also a Probstein auction. My phone didn't crap on me though, I just finished second. :o

Thanks! I really appreciate it. It just went to auction this week after 8+ months of sitting at $350 BIN. Sold for $31.

Did you email the seller to ask if he could pass along your info to the buyer?

I miss the "old days" of eBay when I could simply look at the seller's feedback later and see the buyer's username.
I used to contact buyers whenever I ran into similar situations as this, and it actually worked out for me a couple times.

Now THAT really sucks.
Granted, I personally might have contacted the seller earlier to consider a lower BIN price
but I still would've assumed that only an offer over $200 would have any legit chance.

Yeah, I did contact Probstein several times a few months apart whenever it was relisted. They sell consignment for people, and the card's owner said they wouldn't budge from $350 because it was a 'Pop 1', (despite already being a 1/1 to begin with). I offered WAy above what any recent Rodgers 1/1 plate had sold for, from any product with each offer I sent. No budging for them.
I'm hoping maybe it gets resold or cracked and relisted.
I did reach out to Probstein to ask if I could have winner's user ID. Fingers crossed.
