I am going to add one to the books, but seems there has been a rash of senseless threads/posts.

whats wrong with this?
this is a place for interest in cards.
this is the beauty of the internet, to convey news that someone may want to be involved in.
people can be a little too controlling at times and and cant think out of the box.
if any site wants to hear news like this,it would be this one.
this is a site about cards. I am posting an auction of cards that someone may like to be part of.

I think it is a rip off. It looks like a late 80's junk collection with a couple handfuls of old card thrown on top.
Reminds of of the late night Don West sales.

I think they just donate them to the victims of Jerry Sandusky and Joe Paterno.

General Rule of thumb.
If they do not list out the cards, don't buy. There are exceptions, but this isn't one.

this is an exception because its an estate sell sight. They arent looking to screw anyone. Its bidding and it started at 50$. They arent listing every card but they took multiple descriptive pictures.
the pictures are right there in your face. These arent recent cards.
theres obviously many old baseball and basketball cards.

Just over $100 with 12 hours left. Would have to think there is some value there for anyone willing to do the work and submit the better vintage to PSA. Trouble is the storage is typical for the era and condition is going to be pretty rough on most of it.

I have a hard time thinking someone collected in the 50's &60's, gave up, then came back full throttle in 87-92. This listing is too picturesque to not carefully planned.

As a master of spamming I don't think the OP is spamming. HE thought he found something good and shared it with us.

Tony Mandarich nor his mom would not want a Tony Mandarich rookie card.

More like someone who collected in the '80s and '90s and liked to buy old cards as well as new stuff.
At the right price, it's a good buy and a lot of fun to go through, even if you're not looking to sell.
And if you do in-person sales (shop or show), there are a lot of vintage cards there that you could move easily (set-builders are the target audience).
At $100 or thereabouts, I'd be in.

The same way everyone else does, you buy stuff later on.
Where did I say the majority was 50s,60s?
What difference does it make? If the amount of older cards gets you the 100$ back,it served it's purpose.
There's obviously 4 or 5 visible,very old basketball cards.
Your line of thinking is purely about money anyway. Not about collecting.
I'm not saying I know what's in there either but it's laughable that every guy on site just jumps on the negative train all day about everything.
Every other thread is about a card being fake,I got ripped off etc.
No substance and free will about the fun essence of collecting.
All anyone does is type the words -mail day- and gets mad unless everyone just types 'cool card' for 20 posts lol
That's not ALL that goes on here but it's pretty close.
I'll concede this site is a little more active than the other 2 I've been to but not much in card collecting substance going on.
