Amazing Sketch from Philly Non Sports Show.

Had a great time at the Philly Non Sports show today. We were into the show very quickly and headed to the Cryptozoic table with our tickets to spin the wheel and get a prize. Could be a sketch, autograph or memorabilia card from any Cryptozoic product. My spin lands on a sketch and the guy gives me 5 different ones to choose from and I chose this one......................

The Joker- DC Comics Super-Villans Sketch by Jack Hai/Jason Potratz.
The detail in this card is amazing and a great card for my first sketch card.

Thanks. I haven't gotten into the sketch craze yet, so it was cool to get one as a freebie. Of the 5 I had to choose from 2 were Super Villans and a couple were Ghostbusters, but I like the Joket and this one had the best detail. A dealer offered me 80 for it, but I declined.

If you like the Joker best from what you saw, it's best you took the Joker, but Ghostbusters just released and seems very popular, so the Ghostbusters ones wouldn't have been bad picks, either, especially if you do sell.
Do you get another shot at the wheel tomorrow? ;)

Did the Crypto booth have promo cards available? More specifically the "P1 Cryptomium variant" Ghostbusters convention exclusive promo card? I am in need of two of them and would gladly pay for them if you could obtain them.

I guess it's possible, but it's a 3 hour drive for me, so I have never gone back for the second day.

This one will end up on eBay. There were so many guesses as to value and selling price from different dealers and sketch collectors at the show that's what it will bring, so time will tell.

I won't be going back tomorrow, mainly because of the distance. It's 3 hours there and 3 hours home for me.

I considered the Ghostbusters sketches, they didn't have much detail to them.

They did give promos out, but they were the Justice League, Outlander and The Flash.

They had a book of promos at the booth and you could trade in previous CZE promos. I forgot about this because I wanted a few. They did have the regular and foil Ghostbustes promo. I'm pretty sure that's what you are looking for.

No. George let me look through them, and I would say they were pretty representative of what gets inserted into packs. There were amazing, average, and mediocre sketches to chose from.

If you remember to contact me before the fall show, I can probably get them for you. Forget that though... just email them a link to your break thread and ask if they will nail you a few. Having bought that many cases, I'm sure they will hook you up. They seem like decent folks.

Matt and I were pretty lucky in that we were the 8th and 9th person in line at the Cryptozoic table and many of the previous spins were autos. I think we had a wide range of choices.
