Hey guys, had a quick question about what you think this guy is worth? Rookie year Exclusives RPA /35, BGS 9/10.

I was using this as a comp and saying the card is worth about 2k...does that seem fair?

I'd rather have the noble nameplates for sure. The guy asking 4k for one of these on here is insane

The namaplates is the much better card, especially since there are so many insert sets that year. I would think the Exclusive Patch Auto is +/- $1.5K max, but if you're willing to pay 2k then it's a 2k card - just seems extremely high to me! The only thing I think that card has going is that it's a BGS 9 - which years from now people will truly understand how good of a grade that is for Exquisites - kind of like vintage cards in high grades. Also remember these cards are from the signed boxes so are even harder to find as singles as most will have been buried deep in collections or kept together as a "set"

This is easily a 2-3k card. Nameplates that's listed is raw. Ppl need to remember how hard it is to get a 9 grade on exquisite from that long ago.

Andddd...this thread is a prime example why non retired, short to medium term investments are horrible.

You have a top 3 talent and former mvp, yet his key cards have declined in value over the years.

Unless you're winning championships, expect the worst if you're viewing this hobby as an investment, because in the end it's all about the legacy.
