1973 - Padres moving to DC

I love historical what-could've-beens and that sort of thing, so I got a kick out of this article (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2016/06/16/the-time-the-san-diego-padres-were-this-close-to-moving-to-d-c/) about how close the Padres were to moving to Washington, DC after 1973.

Kind of neat that they mentioned Topps producing cards with Washington on them.

And in 1992 the Giants were pretty close to being moved to Tampa Bay before the other NL owners voted not to allow the move, after which the team was sold to Peter MacGowan and the current ownership group.
