I was wondering would the forum hold out and really boycott Finest because of the stunt they pulled. I have seen very few breaks and it looks like the boycott worked.

Doesn't hurt that it was a crap product that looks terrible and apparently had pitiful resell value as well (judging by completed sales on the bay).

They might have bought some... just didn't post the breaks.

Had no idea there was a boycott

I think people were mad that they were selling the product directly from the Topps website.

Just because you don't have documented breaks on the Blowout forum does not prove anything!

Plenty of auctions on Ebay (2,702 listings) from what I can see.

I opened 3 boxes and each box more than paid for itself. But, well, no, I don't see a but about it. Loved it!

Same here. Got scrub autos, still broke even and then some.

Topps certainly learned their lesson. A group of maybe 30 people didn't buy Finest.

OP is kidding himself. I didn't buy Finest because it has burned me far too many times, it had zero to do with Topps selling it direct. If Topps were to pull the same trick with TC or BC Draft, it would still sell in the same volumes as ever. This hobby is full of junkies, getting ones fix is far more important than taking the moral high ground.

well every Group Breaker would have done at least one case..which is close to 200 right there alone.

There are a bunch of Finest breaks on YouTube from all the normal big breakers. I guess I don't understand what your point is.

This product certainly got ripped by a ton of people. My LCS was selling cases as well, and people were buying.

I think some people don't realize how small of a percent of the hobby this forum really is. I would break with people all the time who don't have BO accounts.
