We finally have ourselves a rivalry.
Not the inflammatory thread you vultures were expecting. CLE vs. GS. Looking forward to seeing how this goes the next few years. One thing that MJ's career was devoid of, was a rivalry.

lebron has dominated curry in every category, not to mention those nasty blocks when curry tries to drive. but the team does have a nice rivalry after back to back finals. if only the cavs werent down the majority of their starters last year.....

Lebron James showed that it actually isn't even close.
ALL AROUND TALENT. Lebron James LITERALLY was atop of EVERY SINGLE STAT possible pretty much... Guys he made a statement and created history. On both ends of the floor. He had so many crucial blocks. Including the probably game saving block tonight late in the 4th.
Curry is a hell of a shooter... deadly when on...
Lebron James is an all around talent that we'll probably never see again. He really gave it his all. I am beyond proud of that man.

Why is your font so big and aggressive? Also, I agree with you.
You might have missed the point.
MJ's career was devoid of a rivalry because he was so great there was nobody else that could rival him.
But yes, I definitely agree that the Cavs vs Warriors is shaping into a pretty nice rivalry.
Lebron vs Curry... not so much.

Was an awesome game. I'm a neutral but found myself cheering on the Cavs. Lebron deserved it - wouldn't have gotten there without Kyrie but he changed his game as he said. He was truly horrible in Game 4 at home.
From then on he was a beast - that BLOCK!!!!
As for the rivalry - think it only is if he stays in Cleveland.

come on dawg, 25/13/9/2/3 on 52% shooting is horrible? you can maybe go after his performances in game 1 and 2 (still averaged 21/10/9) but the rest of the series was on point.

Sssshhhh don't tell anyone, but MJ actually starting winning titles when the Pistons, Lakers, and Celtics broke down. People forget that the teams the Bulls beat weren't actually that good.

Curry wasn't even the best player for his team in either finals series... How is that a player v player rivalry

Lbj is a little step a head to goat for the 3rd champs.
But still far away from mj.
Curry? His 73 wins will be unforgettable.

Those 73 wins will go down with the patriots 16-0 and no championship campaign...I say that as a pats fan.

The 73 wins were definitely impressive, but less so since they couldn't close out and win the championship. If anything, beating that GS team adds to LeBron's legacy.
I think Currys regular season was the best in 50 years.
That escalated quickly.

Sure the numbers are fine, but he admitted he had to change the way he played. He basically drove and dished that night and had plenty of pts too late in the 4th. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
I love how he's tried to get his teammates involved throughout his carer. To me it separates him from a guy like Kobe who's first and second option is not to trust his teammates involved. But that game I thought it was too much. Perhaps horrible was too harsh!! He fixed it in game 5 and 6 and gave it everything in the 4th to do the business in game 7.

There no player rivalry when Lebron made Curry look like a SCRUB compared to him. The team have a rivalry yes, the players HELL NO Lebron OWNS him.
