Weird eBay Occurrence

I was told by a friend last night about a card that was online, which I cannot see in any of my searches: It is id# 112028996368 - I've searched the seller hotcorner2980 for the item directly on his list and it is nowhere to be found as well! I never saw the card live, nor can I see it in sold listings.

Has anyone else experienced this before?

I can click the direct link but can't search it unless on ebay app ...weirdness!

ebay can destroy a seller's auction by items not showing.
I have missed on items that I search for every day which ran through a 7-day auction and never showed up on my searches (One of them was 20 #d rookies of the player I hoard. It sold at opening bid. I would have bid more than 3 times the price and been happy if I paid my max.).
Even after the items close, they may not show up when looking at closed items on your search. I only found the one I mentioned above when I looked at the seller's past items while looking at something else.

And ebay's payment app is messing up and hanging payments as processing sometimes, where the seller doesn't get paid, the money doesn't come out of your account, and you can't pay for the item again because it shows as payment pending.

I actually know the seller of the card you are asking about. He has a store here in Brooklyn. Is there any chance he might have blocked you as a buyer a while back? I had a conversation with him once and he told me he had over 3000 buyers blocked for many different reasons. I know that if you are on a sellers blocked list it can sometimes limit some of the items you can see

I don't see why I would be on anyone's blocked list to be honest. I try pretty hard to not ruffle any feathers and try to make all deals I do as smooth as possible. That thought did cross my mind though, so I tried clicking best offer and tried to message him - both seemed to work, which I don't think it would allow me to if I were blocked.

I'm pretty sure being blocked wouldn't keep you from searching. The system blocks you when you bid.

This is really weird. When I put the number in, I get no search results found. When I click picojim's link, I get the eBay homepage. When I click bradical's link, I get the ended item.

They've been doing that a lot lately with items taken down by the seller or don't sell. Heck, I have multiple items that never showed up when searching with phone / browser until I changed some spacing. Weird lately.

Yeah, I've somehow missed entire auctions
that should have displayed in searches that I check daily.

Sometimes I think I should just manually search from now on.
