This is second-hand knowledge, so take it with a grain of salt, but I was told by one of the bigger dealers that this card last changed hands early to mid 2015 for roughly $85,000.

So, I would assume that he's not considering any number under $100k on it.

It's not an absurd price if someone pays it. What's absurd is if he lists it and sells it for $100K when someone would have paid $250K. No risk in listing too high, only too low.

Exactly. $500k seems about right to me. Always want to go double what you think so you can see what the strongest offers are. Worst thing is somebody hits the bin and you screw yourself.

That's not even close to accurate, and Ive already clarified what I meant by that several posts up... IE: they wouldn't do it face to face because they're cowards, and require the safety and anonymity of the internet.

So, I troll someone who puts up a piece of cardboard, and an absolutely absurd price, and mention it on a sportscard forum only to be attacked both personally, and professionally (at least one of you blocked me from buying from you on ebay.. dont worry, ill live)

Several people apparently don't see how utterly ridiculous it is to post a sportscard for 500 grand, and because I made a mockery of it by sending the seller a ridiculous offer, several internet heroes on this forum felt it was appropriate to use the little bit of info they could ascertain about me, and proceed to rip my life apart.

I also received a bunch of bogus offers from the same people here on an aromatherapy vape that i found at a yard sale, and posted on Ebay.
