With a few caveats.......

If they aren't available now it could be one that is actually possible today, like for example, kobe and Shaq haven't had one but it is possible so that would be ok.

Premium collectors prefer single autos on cards. Almost in all cases single autos sell better and have more demand than combo autos. MJ/Pippen/Rodman and Shaq/Kobe might be the exception. Keeping in mind that they are from the same brand/set and numbering (all other things staying constant)

This example isn't the norm though, since the Stockton/Malone Dual shows more of the player(s) than the single autos you showed. So in this case, yea the dual is obviously nicer in my eyes.

Example: how many shaq on card autos can you get right now? and how many kobe on card autos can you get right now at this moment? if you wanted you could buy a whole bunch.....you just have to check the bay..... but kobe/shaq on card dual auto? nada.... and if they made one I bet it would be low numbered.

Same reason goes for any combination really. Even the Jordan pippen rodman ... with all the print runs added up I think they have like 50 copies total ? IDK... vs like 50,000 single autos between them? (just rough estimate. LOL) So there is a little more intrigue in that sense.

And some duos are synonymous with each other so it makes sense to me... Stockton and Malone... shaq and kobe..... magic and bird..... etc... just a pretty cool novelty IMO.

This is one of my favorite cards in my Knicks PC. As well as the Ewing/Dream up top. I normally dislike black & white photos of players on cards but I just absolutely love how UD designed this dual. The dual retro Knicks logos were a wise choice. I love how Clyde and Captain are symmetrical in their respective pictures too. Color images of them would probably ruin the card. This card is the definition of symmetrical. Imagine cutting it in half? Even their signatures are symmetrical, haha!
