I'll apologize ahead of time in case this has already been answered but I was wondering when you guys think is the best time to sell a prospect. I know timing is key to everything when it comes to selling but I'd like to hear what other people with more experience think. From what I've seen, after a prospect sticks around in the majors, I usually see the prices fall on their cards (so holding on long term doesn't seem to be the answer unless you hit a Trout, Bryant, etc.) when compared to the prices leading up to their call-up, etc. What do you guys think?

Yes it's been answered about ten times a week.
Sell the day they are called up. Could go up but mostly likely will go down.
It depends on the player. If there were an easy answer everyone would make a killing.

The correct answer is sell the the day you get them out of a pack. Every additional day reduces the expected value of the card, because there will either be more products taking away peoples' attention or the player will have signed for 6 more products watering down the value of their autograph.
