I have been listening about the hype of this documentary by local sports radio fare (I live in Phoenix).

What has been said about it has been very positive in the aspect of how it takes the casual or even avid NFL fan into the behind-the-label aspect of the game. It's a raw perspective that is not seen on TV or from the stands. It has been portrayed as a kind of emotional and jarring look into the locker room, team meetings, team discussions, and mic-ed up field-level look into the game itself. This series was recorded during the Arizona Cardinals 2015 season.

I am not trying to over sell this here as a Cardinals fan as I would be interested in this kind of season long documentary in any NFL franchise. I will be looking for a hard copy to enjoy many times over.

Reportedly there are both censored and uncensored versions of it.

Im looking forward to it, as a Cardinals fan, and a fan of the game.....will there be a hard copy release right away, or only after the series runs?

Hey come on now. I'm a salty Forty WHINER fan.

Listen, I get it, if my team went 5-11 and and was so desperate that they had to higher Chip Kelly I would be a whiner too. Maybe you can join us cardinals fans and well bring you a bowl of popcorn to watch this movie with us

Don't worry, I cuddle the 5 SB trophies my team won every night to soothe the hurt of that 5-11 season.

And before the chorus of "5 super bowls from a hundred years ago" starts, I'm 42. Not 22. I saw each of those happen, as they happened. Except for Steelers and Cowboys fans, no other fan base has anything on me.

The only thing in the Cardinals trophy case is a vial of Larry Fitzgerald's tears.

tell me about it... that place was so hot and dumpy. I'd been to better highschool facilities.

Not too sure. Amazon Prime is where it will be watched. All 8 episodes will be available come Friday. I am a HUGE Eagles fan here in AZ, but I root for the Cards as they are the hometown team. I would be watching this show no matter what team it was.

I just finished binge watching it this past weekend.

This behind-the-game documentary was very enjoyable. I always wondered what went on during commercial breaks, during half-time, behind the walls meetings, player cliques and this piece gave me a fly-on-the-wall look into that world. It does well with introducing the human element beyond the field as well as documenting the game and schedule itself.

There are 8 episodes running between 47-51 minutes each.

I only wish they had documented the whole experience on the team plane during road games.

I watched all of it other than part of the Packers/Cardinals playoff game episode. I watched Janis catch the pass in the end zone to get the Cardinal reactions and my wife and I said that was enough to see of that.

I did go back and watch the final episode where they got torched by the Panthers in the NFCC. It did make me feel better.

Overall, I thought it was excellent, better than Hard Knocks. It was cool getting to follow a team for an entire season and I hope this catches on into something regular. Having both Hard Knocks and something like this would be great as a rabid football fan. It makes me care about players on another team other than Green Bay.

I finished the series this weekend and it's great, capped by two compelling playoff games (for very different reasons).

I hope Amazon has another in the works.

I agree. Any thirsty football fan would love this. I'm only 4 episodes in but I am really enjoying it. I bought a Arians Contenders auto because I like him so much.
