So, I have been slowly putting together the ridiculously SP'd 2015 Topps Chrome Auto set, and have been doing so on a VERY tight budget, so you can imagine it has been slow going for sure. Well, I am officially down to needing just 5 more from the set after picking up this one:

2015 Topps Chrome Jaelen Strong RC Auto 108 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-Topps-Chrome-Jaelen-Strong-RC-Auto-108-/122023802586?hash=item1c692f76da:g:jdAAAOSwc1FXasSq)

Why is this one a big deal you might ask? Well, aside from the 2-3 that popped up when the set was released and no one knew quite yet what was SP'd and what wasn't, I have seen exactly ZERO of these until very recently. One hit eBay a few weeks back with a BIN of $200...which was a bit out of my range to say the least, so when the one above was listed as a $0.99 auction, I thought I might have a chance at it (and was totally geared up to spend $50-75 to grab it for my set).

Being proactive though, I decided to message the seller to see if he would be interested in just selling it outright, and he immediately came back with the response of "sure, how does $15 sound?". Well it sounded absolutely great and was even more excited when I found it in the mailbox yesterday! I've been pretty lucky so far on the SPs for this set, so now if anyone knows where I can grab that elusive Brett Hundley without breaking the bank, I am pretty much set (the other 4, while expensive, do pop up quite often: Cooper, Gurley, Mariota, Winston). Just thought I would share!

Congrats, always love seeing set builder pick-up deals. Do they ever release print run numbers for the SP autos? Or any general numbers <50 or <100

Nice snag, I hate when one goes off that cheap (unless I'm the one buying it :D) because then people think "Oh hey the last one got $15, that's what it's worth!", even though the previous one sold for $199.

Absolutely nothing. Best you can do is just try and gauge it by the ones you have personally seen hit eBay or other markets, but then you still don't know how many of those are resales. I was completely convinced for the last few years that there were ZERO copies of the 2007 Kenny Irons auto in chrome, only to find out a fellow member on here had about five himself, so they've been doing this since way back in the early days of the Topps Chrome RC auto. It would definitely make my life a bit easier if they would let us know how many were out there, don't think that will happen though...ha!

Yeah, we had talked earlier so it was quite the coincidence that I was able to grab it for that price (I think the total lack of sales on this one specifically helped me out, not many at all to gauge value and you had to go WAY BACK to even find more than the one you mentioned). I was ready to bid up to $75 (had my bid already to go), but definitely glad I sent that seller a message.
