What will Durant to Warriors do to Durant, Curry, Thompson prices?

Durant - Up because of SF new fanbase excitement?
Curry - stays the same?
Thompson - down because of durant's replacement?

Thompson's prices won't take a hit.

More championships, more high percentage looks, more fans... his prices will rise if anything.

Thompson will be fine. This hurts Curry. Definitely no 30 ppg or MVP next year. If they don't win the title, then it's really going to hurt.

After an initial bump I think all 3 will sag a bit. This team won't be able to replicate the regular season it had last year. People will begin to ask "What's wrong" and by mid season the rumors of Durant leaving will start to pop up, because sports writers.

Come end of season they'll start playing better, then it's all up to whether or not they can finish in the finals.

I think Klay/Dray will drop a little bit (10-20%). Curry prices have been so overflated last season, i imagine he will slowly drop back down into reality. KG prices will have a short term spike, but fall fast if GSW don't dominate like they did last year.

Durant Rookie year will go up. Question Is how much. I think when these guys Start playing together People will go crazy. Lots of new Fans will want to own a Durant RC. I am super excited to see what this means for my Durant Rookie year Collection.

Also bis Warrior Cards will demand huge attention.

As for his okc Cards I think they will drop.

Seriously, I have never liked those OKC Jerseys. KD Is going to Look so fresh with that new Jersey. Cant wait!

I think durant goes up quite a bit. He's so reasonably priced compared to a lot of guys. new market, tons of buzz, huge fav to win a championship etc.


Curry drops. A new superstar for people to spend money on and currys stats likely to take a big hit.


But id say the two main guys to take a huge hit will be draymond and klay. All those extra shot attempts are going to cut in to klays usage quite a bit. I see him averaging 16-17 and even if he's the same player he will fall out of the best SG talks. Going to be much harder for green to dominate the ball like last year. Durant handles the ball more is a better rebounder and passer than Barnes.


If I was to guess scoring stats for next year id say ppg would look like.

Curry 26
Durant 25
Klay 17
Green 12

Last I checked a Topps chrome Psa 10 KD rc was 100 bucks
Meanwhile Curry chrome base Psa 10 was well over 1k
Obviously KD prices will go up. That's for sure.
