For the first time in HR derby history 3 pitching changes are required before the Commissioner steps in and declares that to avoid this in the future, the winner of the Homerun Derby determines which wild card team gets homefield advantage provided said homerun derby champion hits no more than 35 homeruns.

This timed method really does favor the young, although Frazier's strategy of hitting them barely over the wall is a great equalizer for the guys who don't routinely hit 450 like Giancarlo.
