I don't want to start another "bash Panini" thread, because I collect some of their cards and like what they do design-wise for the most part. But I've noticed on 2015-16 products that the backs of cards no longer have information. This might not apply to all, but it has applied to all of them that I can remember (presumably not for low-end).

This makes me sad. I learned so much about the game growing up by studying the stats and reading the facts on the back. This, along with most of the back looking REALLY plan. Does anyone else care?

I think the higher end stuff had less info on back than low end usually but maybe that's based on consumer feedback?

I totally care! Nothing bugs me more than cards like the Threads inserts that say nothing on the back. So boring! One of my most favorite things about cards is reading the backs!

+1

Before I knew about Hugh end that was half of the excitement, reading g the little blurb about the player and looking at their career stats

Card backs are so underrated. I even noticed earlier on, when companies actually used different photos of the player in the reverse.

As many products as Panini puts out constantly, I can see where running out of info worthy of a few sentences can happen, but I am also of the company that reads backs aspnd specifically stats. I so prefer a guys career stats displayed I. The reverse so I can look over his while body of work and appreciate them...ala Timmy D or Kobe.

I actually wanted to start a thread on card backs, but have not got around taking photos and I am still gathering relevant information. What Panini does with card backs is despicable. Times changed an with the internet, maybe we do not need all the stats, but as I am reading the back of cards, I found stuff like what Jordan, Pippen had to say about the 19 year old Kobe Bryant. Remeber, there were whole sets dedicated to journalism (Talkin Hoops with Bill Walton) or what stars like Magic had to say about the rookies? Not to mention funky stuff like rap lyrics and even poetry. This is just the tip of the iceburg fellas, don't get me started on this...

its a change, but i don't mind it. how often do the majority of collectors actually read the backs?

More often than one would think...

"During his first season in the pros De'Angelo Russell famously ratted out his teammate, nick young, for stepping out on Iggy Azalea"
Put the fun facts on the back.

I noticed the same thing as well. It got really bad this year. Last year was still ok. It is not just missing stat. It does not have anything other than the COA with the same image of the front.
