Hey guys. I have just started to focus on COMC and want to give it a serious try for the rest of this year after "playing" around" flipping.

Couple of questions.

How well does vintage sell there? I see a lot of vintage in VGEX EX and priced accordingly. I have a lot of vintage from the 60's and 70's I collected in my childhood and much of it is NM or better. How do higher end raw vintage sell? It seems when searching for a card the buyer will see cards that cost less before the higher priced better condition cards. Seems this would slow the sales of better cards.

Any advice appreciated....

As someone that collects high grade vintage, if it's priced appropriately - it sells quickly. A lot of people do look at just the lowest priced cards, but there are also a lot of people who look for condition/price to make sense and buy the best available.

Thanks Swipe. I'm going to send in a batch of 200 or so and see how it goes.

High grade vintage with very few copies on the site sells well. If there are a large number of a particular card then yours often will get lost.

I have been working on pre 1968 sets and continue to buy many of them on COMC.

If you have high grade vintage, screen out 50 of the best ones/most valuable to send to PSA on a Collector's Club special (high numbers, HOFs, rookies, variation). Every couple of months the special is about $6/card in orders of 50 or more.
But yes, high grade vintage sells pretty well. I focus on flipping the more desirable ones. As always, check to see that there aren't already multiple copies. Like 1975 Topps Mini is flooded on COMC, with most commons having like 20 copies available and like 2 sales in 6 years.
