Never had this happen. Was looking at my purchased items and the oldest one shows that the seller is no longer registered on Ebay. I paid for item on August 13th. 70 bucks. Still not marked as shipped. The seller sent message the night auction ended asking if I could send payment before he goes out of town. Thought nothing of it. Now this.

Sellers name is "lulucoop10" 21 feedback.

I started the claim but it is asking me to wait until 23rd for a response from seller. Should I just go ahead and call them?

I would wait. If they don't hear back from the seller with live tracking you'll get your refund on the 23rd.

I would call. No longer a registered user used to grant instant refund.

This. You may have to escalate to ebay, but it will be an easy refund.

I have had it happen and got the item I was buying, have also had the opposite happen. Sounds to me like he did not pay his bill and new he would not be able to that is why he wanted to rush payment. In the case where the item never arrived I had to wait out the process just like any other transaction.

As a seller if a buyer goes NARU the unpaid process is instant.

Takes 90 days before becoming "NARU" over fees. Sellers are not allowed to list after their bill is 3 days late(final pay due last day of each month for prior month sales). So I'd say the above theory is far from correct.

This happened to many of us last year.

Seller put a ton of high end autos up on EBay for low auction. Everyone who won got screwed as the seller disappeared.

Well known and historically done EBay fraud - take the money and run.

Everyone got their money refunded after the specific time to run the process. I think my refund happened about 3 weeks later.

You would know this information, right. Only way you would know is if you make a habit of it.

Unlike you, I will not click the report button to tattle to a moderator for you making falso accusations. I just simply wanted to clear up some bad information provided. You see, only takes a little research to find out how it works on there. Ebay community forums have a wealth of information. Again, wouldn't be the first time you've made false statements on here.

Now....resist clicking that red triangle.

How was that bad info? It was speculation, I know you are reading illiterate at times but there is a difference, unlike you I have never been late on payment to Ebay or had an account NARU'ed.. And it is true that even if the seller is NARU the process is the same. And if a buyer goes NARU then a seller can file and get the credit immediately. Those are facts. I have had sellers go NARU and I get the item no issues and I have had some go NARU and had to follow the process that is a fact. However in the grand scheme does it really matter? In this issue its really irrelevant.

The rushing of payment and then going NARU screams scam, but that does not change the process that the OP will have to go through to get their money back.

Went ahead and called Ebay on the 18th and they said to let the case run it's course. I asked about his NARU status and they said it was either from violating policy or not paying his fees. I escalated the case today (earliest that I could) and it will close in 48 hours.
