UD Annouces Rookie of the Month for August
Upper Deck has named Tim Lincecum, Pitcher, San Francisco Giants, as its Rookie of the Month for August. Lincecum has compiled a 7-4 record to go along with 137 strike outs during his debut campaign.
The "Rookie of the Month" baseball card set features six unique cards based on those handpicked by MLB each month. The "Rookie of the Month" cards will be sent to hobby shops each month where collectors can obtain the cards by redeeming five wrappers of any 2007 Upper Deck or Fleer baseball product.
Previously Announced Rookie of the Month Recipients:
April: Boston Red Sox, Pitcher, Daisuke Matsuzaka
May: San Francisco Giants, Outfielder, Fred Lewis
June: Houston Astros, Outfielder, Hunter Pence
July: Milwaukee Brewers, 3B, Ryan Braun
