View Full Version : Need help identifying & pricing a card- 2008 Topps Pedroia Auto

Bought a collection & found this tucked away in a box. I can't find anything on it, but I'm sure someone will quickly come up with something for me.

Card is hand #'d 22/29 and has a Topps hologram on the back.

ANY info would be great, can't find anything on EBay, Beckett or the interwebs in general.

Looks like a buyback. Couldn't tell you much more than that though.

Is it card number 178 on the back? If so, then the auto sticker and hand numbering were probably done after the fact as part of a giveaway. Those Topps auto stickers were in use for awhile, someone may have even removed them from another card and put them on that one. Here's an '09 Pedroia auto with the same sticker.

Never seen it with an auto though. Its a 2008 Topps. Interesting.

That card was never officially issued with an auto. It was added after the fact. By whom is the real question. :)

Interesting... As stated it has a Topps hologram sticker on the back of it.

Could very well have been Topps that made them as part of a certain promotion or giveaway. I've never seen one in the wild before.
