[EMAIL CHIME]
Hello Tanner, I ran across this Jose Canseco card, and was wondering if you would be interested....
[EMAIL CHIME]
Hey, Tanner! A friend of mine just pulled this Canseco! You can email him at...
[EMAIL CHIME]
So, you are the crazy moustache guy that makes customs and loves Canseco, right? If so, I saw this Canseco get opened in a break....
----------------
I get messages like these every day. The only way it could possibly be any better is if more of you did it! I want to SINCERELY thank everyone who has ever even tried to put me in contact with someone who may have a card I want for my collection.
SOOOO....I want to start up a contest as a thank you to all those who have helped me.
I'm putting this in the baseball forum, because this is really my "home" in this forum. I am all about baseball, and 95% of my work is baseball related.
Beginning tonight, and ending 9/16/16 at 9:21pm CST.
Respond to this thread with
- A character (you, family member, baseball player, actor, etc.) you would like a custom of, and why.
- Something about you that very few people know.
- Someone you would nominate to be picked, and why
I am not sure if I'm going to pick one person, or five people. Heck, I'm not sure if I'm going to pick the person who is nominated, or the person who nominates!
The winner(s) will receive a custom card made by yours truly.
Annndddd.....GO!
This contest has been posted on a few of my favorite places on the web, but I'll post the winners (without mentioning the forum names unless they are from here) on this thread.
THE CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED. Thanks everyone for your posts! I'll post the winner cards up here as I make them.
First is stone193 who wanted a 1963 Fleer Mickey Mantle, because one doesn't exist:

---------------
Today is 40-40 Day, and Topps did not give me my wish of making a Topps NOW Throwback card for Canseco, so I made my own. Looks like I'm the next winner of this contest! :)

In this Sunday-Special edition of The Mouschi Contest: Winners, we have a digital-only exclusive. The winner: TKRAFT24.
He had initially requested an eyebrow / moustache swap of this fellow:

This is for you, Tkraft24 - enjoy!
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/sammy2.jpg
-------------------
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Here is a summary of the highlight of my weekend, as expressed in a Topps NOW card:
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/dinner.jpg
Anyhoo...RandyB is the next winner! He wanted a card done of his step-father. So, here you go Randy! It is a mini style card in a frame. I hope you and he enjoy it.
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/billy.jpg
--------------
The next winner is Phillies_Joe. He was nominated by several folks, and had me do a custom of his family. In addition to that, he sent me an autographed baseball of Aaron Nola and some money to do a booklet. Here is the final result!
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/cheesman4.jpg
I liked it so much, I made something similar out of a game used baseball I had for my own collection:
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/canseco2.jpg
-----------------------
This isn't a part of the contest, but while I'm waiting for the last 2 people to send me material, I thought I'd post my latest project: 2007 Barry Bonds Home Run History Extension Set: 757-762
I did these, but the write up is somewhere near the end of this thread!

-------------
Congratulations to everyone who has survived this week and made it to the weekend! The next to last contest winner is now wrapped up, so we have one more to go, though I'm not sure when that will be.
Before I do the reveal, I figured I'd show off a fun project that was very challenging to get the look right ... T206 style. Dboneesq is putting together the T206 New York set. Yes, a Bronx Bombers collector before they were the Yankees. They were actually the Highlanders. The twist? He is a Mantle fan. The problem? The Mick was born about 20 years too late.
This project was challenging because I had to get Mantle's head on an existing Highlanders body ... in addition to putting a fitting hat. Here they are: The red and blue back variations!
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/mantle2.jpg
Now, for the next to last contest winner reveal: A_Pharis! He both entered and was nominated.
He sent me over this:
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/hoyt4.jpg
So I did this:
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/hoyt3.jpg
and made the back look like this:
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/hoyt2.jpg
Then the front like this: (ooooOOoooohhh purty blue foil!!!!)
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/hoyt1.jpg
It will be out to you soon, brother. I hope you like it!
------------
The contest is officially over! The final card has been made.

Luke Easter ( I even have the cut ready!) he was an amazing negro league star that hit absolute mammoth homeruns. He played into his 50s. Most people outside of Cleveland or Rochester have never heard of him. Unfortunately he was murdered in 1979 dropping off a bank deposit.
I have a tiny inexpensive collection
Cruiserdaddy he helped me through some rough times rather than judge me.

A 2015 topps Graham Gano, why doesn't he have his own football card yet? I know he missed that field goal last night but he was my kicker on my fantasy team and I want to have a 2015 topps card of everyone on my team since we won the league last year.
My great grandma lived to be 112
I nominate spuds1961 because he survived 2 heart attacks and 2 knee surgeries in 4 years. That is amazing actually

Mouschi's kindness and creativity at it again!
1) Chris Kaman - He's arguably my favorite Clipper ever, and I think a custom of him would be awkwardly amazing
2) I am somewhat obsessed with Claw Machines (the video game machines where you use a metal claw to try to grab a stuffed animal). Ever since I was a kid, I was always weirdly good at them, and pretty much no other video game. When my niece was really little, she used to stand and watch my every move while I pulled toys out for kids at her birthday bowling parties. Now she is a Claw Master as well!
3) Steelbrad - One of the nicest and most genuine guys on here (or anywhere). If you haven't had a chance to deal with Brad, I highly recommend it!
tribetown
09-10-2016, 07:38 AM
1) Grady Sizemore - He is my favorite all time!
2) I can't stand the smell of alcohol, and therefore, I don't drink.

1) Ideally, I would love to have a dual cut auto card of my wife & daughter. They are my 2 biggest supporters and I owe so much to them.
2) When I was a kid (10-12) I used to stop twice a week at an elderly neighbors house to help her with raking leaves & bringing her trash cans in. Never told my parents why I was an hour+ late getting home, would just say I was playing football with my friends. To this day I still don't know why I never told them the truth...
3) Would nominate Darktiger29 (Travis). He's a good dude that I've worked out many deals with, and he's sent so many Prince Fielder cards for my daughter to add to her collection.
mfw13
09-10-2016, 09:34 AM
1) My dad, who is 93 years old, and is one of the relatively few living members of the 10th Mountain Divison who served in World War II.
2) I was a part of one of the first ever student exchange programs with the Soviet Union back in 1988, and spent three weeks that summer visiting Soviet students in Siberia. We taught them how to play baseball and make blueberry pancakes, and they taught us how to make pelmeni (Russian dumplings) and sing Beatles songs in Russian. We also put on a joint performance of "Grease", which was a great experience.
3) brentandbecca - because Brent is a fount of useful information and well thought out opinions, and is unfailingly polite even when he disagrees with you

- A character (you, family member, baseball player, actor, etc.) you would like a custom of, and why.
Joe Clark from Eastside High School in Paterson, NJ. As an educator in an urban school district within a few miles of Paterson, I can relate to his struggle trying to educate young men who have disabilities, who lack home support, and who struggle to survive.
- Something about you that very few people know.
I use cards like Topps American Heritage as a learning tool in the classroom.
- Someone you would nominate to be picked, and why
I would like to nominate two people -
jlzink who runs a scholarship funds for students who lack the funds to move on to higher education.
Houdini for putting up with all the nonsense.
BTW, thank you for the contest. I will continue to look out for Cansecos!

Thank you very much for this contest!!!
1) Troy Percival: he turned me from a fan of baseball in the mid 90s into a baseball fanatic.
2) I ran a half marathon at an 8 minute pace, without having ran at all 2 months before the race.
3) I nominate blowout member FASTBIRD. FASTBIRD created a custom display case for me. That case gives my cards and extra great eye appeal!

09-10-2016, 02:58 PM
1. Warren Spahn. I started collecting cards when I was around 18...just a kid really. Always like him from day one. Probably because he looked so young in his rookie cards and everyone always told me I looked younger than I was. Being 18 and told I look 14 years old sucked back then. Those were the good old days. Anyway, Spahn on a 2013 Five Star base card would be incredible. He is always left out of the good stuff it seems.
2. I have never eaten mayonaise.
3. I'd say John Ryno or jzinck
.

09-10-2016, 04:35 PM
1. Jim Fridley (he was my father-in-law's favorite player and I could use one for a Christmas surprise. He passed away a couple of years ago and every year the girls put up a stocking in his memory. And every year Santa has come through with a special surprise. :)! )
2. I'm a member of Mensa
3. 66_Fiat because he's too kind to be hanging out with the rest of us (and he's generous too!)
Wiseguy917
09-10-2016, 04:43 PM
Awesome idea and well appreciated!!
1. Jim Carrey because nobody got more laughs then Mr. Ventura himself in the 90s (also the greatest decade known to mankind) and he also slept with my childhood infatuation Ms Jenny McCarthy mmmmm those Singled Out days.....
2. I have a giant Centaur tattood on my back bc Greek mythology and my birthday are awesome
3. Stinkus bc I've known him since I was 6 (26 years of friendship) and he's a good dude with a cool BO name.

- Ron Swanson/Nick Offerman
And why you may ask? I inadvertently became this character. Before watching Parks and Rec, I was transitioning from an ex athlete into a woodsman. Not only had I taken up wood working, not only had I grown a beard, not only had I started escaping into the woods... I also found myself becoming a mirror image of this man; his ideologies, his political beliefs (minus his agnostic beliefs)... almost everything.
After watching the first few seasons of Parks and Rec, I had never felt such a connection with a character of any sort of entertainment. After purchasing and reading both of his books, I was amazed to find out that we both had similar backgrounds in growing up in the middle of nowhere with a hardworking but dirt poor family. The crazy part is... before I had started watching Parks and Rec, I had decided my career path: studying Environmental Thought and Practice, Anthropology, an Environmental Science in order to work in environmental policy, and later become a park ranger. I have a poster of the Swanson Pyramid my room, and give it a nod every once in a while, as I'm well on my way to making Swanson proud.
- I was a life long Virginia Tech fan before commiting to UVA... and still cheer for them when they're not playing UVA. :o
- ironmonkey, because he gives me life.

1) A horizontal card with Wade Boggs, Ted Williams and Roger Clemens. Some kind of bar on the bottom of the card with their names on it. They would a be head shots from their rookie years. The players would be put on the card left to right in the same order as listed earlier. The Ted head shot would be black and white. I would made the Wade and Roger with superfractor material behind them. Then use the same turn engine design but in silver behind Ted. Yes I have thought about this card.:) It would be my 3 favorite players all on 1 card.
2) I am ambidextrous and don't own a singe card newer than 2000.
3) NonSportCardForum His posts in the NSFW funny pic thread make me LOL.:)!

That was a great interview! I was glad to see that the wood autograph is one of your favorite cards in the collection, as I remember contacting you about it when I saw it get pulled in a group break. You're a true asset to our hobby and I have always appreciated your kind demeanor. Perhaps my favorite part of the interview was your final thoughts, when you spoke of how we, as collectors and hobbyists, should treat others as we would want to be treated ourselves. I try to live by that motto as well. Too often, people get caught up in the greedy, financial aspect of sports cards. At the end of the day, this is a hobby, meant to bring happiness to people. Thanks for sharing the interview with all of us and keep up the good work!!!!

Thanks for the kind words and as always ... thanks again for the lead :) It truly is one of my favorites in my entire collection! Interestingly enough, I had the privilege to let someone else know about a wood card of their player from a break. It is truly fantastic to be able to connect others with cards they can drool over.

1. Not to be conceited but- me, The Ticket Leprechaun. I've got pictures and videos of myself taking batting practice at a Members' only event this year ha.
2. I'm the only Ticket Leprechaun in the entire world. Yes, that is my real job title. Check it out on our team's website here: https://gastoniagrizzlies.com/contact/front-office/
3. I'll nominate Jmscoggin, as he started the HOF PC Collectors Thread, and I spend most of my time there!

1. I think we'll wheel and deal someday on a custom, maybe Jeter.
2. I've mentioned that I did sports photography for a while. The attached picture was Canseco shaving the handle of his bat. I knew why but I thought I'd chat and asked him, "Why do you shave the handles?" He looked at me like I was an idiot and went back to shaving his handle. Players never bothered me, you never knew what mood any of them were in.
3. Would have to go with Houdini. There are a lot of nice, sane, people here but he stands out with his sincere hope to keep us all happy.

1 - It'd be cool to have a Pokemon card done for my son - he's really into that stuff and it would be an amazing thing for him to have. The character would be Jacobee (one of his nicknames) - there is more to it, but I need to work on the character a little before I can say for sure.
2 - Very few people know that I lost one of my best friends to suicide in high school.
3 - I'll throw iluvfish2 into the mix - he's another member of the mod team that has helped out a lot in the past. Houdini would also be a very deserving moderator.

1- a 2011 Topps Finest-style Dean Cain autograph card (My wife loves him, he's coming to town for a comic con in October and she would love getting an auto on a custom card instead of an 8x10)
2- I have a collection of over 120 vintage movie cameras. I also have 4 Emmy awards.
3- I recommend bd3d86, eldavojohn or nera20. Neither probably remember but the first two have popped up at the most random times with set help, useful information and good conversation in the past. Nera20 has always been a solid guy when it comes to B/S/T deals.

Cool contest, fun read so far!
1) Bob Dylan- he has been my biggest role model and is the greatest songwriter of all time..am literally obsessed with his music
2) I was asked to audition for Disney when I was 19, telling me I was a good fit since I looked young.
3) I nominate JohnRyno because he just sent me some Bob Dylan bootlegs and it was completely unnecessary of him

People can! There are Emmy awards for every aspect of television, down to the regional level. The big network/cable awards you see in the yearly show are only a fraction of the possible awards one can receive for various categories of news and entertainment television.

1. Though I have lots of baseball custom ideas, right now I would really be interested in a custom of former Syracuse guard Maggie Morrison. She's my favorite (now-former) women's basketball player (she's coming back to SU as a grad assistant) and a really cool person to talk to. I already have a load of 8x10s from last season's big NCAA Tournament run ready to go, and would love to add a card to her to-sign pile.
2. I've self-published two books of poetry. (If anyone's interested in finding out more about them, drop me a PM.)
3. I nominate r0yals2012. I really enjoy their enthusiasm for autographs and seeing their new successes over in the TTM subsection.

1. Travis Barker (Blink-182 drummer)
2. I made Tiger Woods laugh. (He just got done putting, it was perfectly quiet, and I was a few feet away from where he was walking...as he walked past I yelled "TIGER, I'M UNDEFEATED ON YOUR VIDEOGAME!" and he turned and looked at me and just started laughing, and the whole crowd started cracking up. Tiger is extremely serious while he's playing so this was a pretty big deal LMAO)
3. enyouartist - because I hope one day he will like me enough to let me get that Don Mattingly Prizm Gold /10 refractor from him.

1 - George Brett, because I can't think of anything original or funny under pressure
2 - Jose Canseco sponsored a friend of mine on the professional bowler's tour for a year back in the late 80s. The relationship ended when my friend made literally HUNDREDS of dollars that year...
3 - Skipscards for a few reasons, but mainly just his avatar.

1. Probably Joe Mauer of course. Or my wife, she'd get a kick out of that. Then I can finally tell her that I don't only collect small pictures of men [emoji16].
2. I threw 92.
3. Hollywood42. Genuinely good dude who's passionate about our Twins (go Twins!) as well as his pickups and card projects (especially Herrmann).

1. CJ Beathard - Iowa Quarterback - One of my favorite players of all time for my favorite team of all time!!
2. I played college football at Iowa State University as a Punter a year after blowing out my MCL, ACL, and LCL in my kicking leg.
3. TFD50 - Huge Hawkeye fan as well. Super good guy. Great runner who almost made the Olympic team for Rio. He deserves it!

2. I play the banjo.

-My father and grandfather, I have a double exposure photo of my grandfather in an early 1900's RH pitching stance in his Sunday clothing standing in a field with a photo exposure of my father in a similar LH stance that I would love have put on a baseball card. My grandfather got my dad into baseball as with my dad with me and my brother. I would love to have this card and one to give my older brother as well.
-that I collect baseball cards (it is personal for me) but seriously nobody I know personally knows I collect baseball cards
-Even though there are a lot of excellent candidates here on BO even you Mouschi for your well written intriguing posts but I would like to nominate Firerunner since he is a fellow Pirate fan, great guy and OP of the official/unofficial Pirates thread.

-My son, 4 years old. He is the pride and joy of my life and the reason I get up and do what I do every day and try to be the best person I can be for him. He actually has a football card already-won a contest that UD had and I love the card, but baseball cards is what I do so want something of him in the right sport.
-Hmmm, I actually have some similar to others here. I will go with a song I wrote was recorded at Electric LadyLand. Its the only song I have ever written, and I have no musical talent whatsoever.
-Houdini. He has been so wonderful to many on here, and has turned a personal tragedy into a mission to help others dealing with same and bring needed attention to it. His strength amazes and inspires me, honestly, I would rather him get the card if this entry was picked and guess he might do a tribute to his beautiful daughter, but if not, whatever would make him happy.

Not sure if this is too late, but....
1 - Personally I am a Cecil Fielder guy and would love a custom of him in some way. The other that I think would be pretty cool would be an Armando Galarraga/Jim Joyce dual auto/relic custom....lol
2 - I am adopted
3 - iluvfish2.....basically because he has to deal with tons of junk on here and he could always use a unique Wade Boggs for his collection.
Thanks for the contest! :)!

Curtis Pride. He's the only major leaguer i've seen hit a home run. Hes also deaf.
- Something about you that very few people know.
I have a small collection of cards with serial numbers 14/xxx and 239/xxx
- Someone you would nominate to be picked, and why

Looks like the contest is over, but I will post anyways for the fun of it. I think it's a really awesome one.
1) a custom booklet that celebrates every student and staff member at my high school. Not as crazy as you think since it would only total 35 people.
2) I work at one of the most remote schools in the country. The school is at the foot of one of the 5 sacred mountains on the navajo reservation. Takes an hour and a half to drive to the nearest traffic light.
3) I would say mouschi's wife. She supports one of the ultimate player collectors in the hobby. The woman must be a saint.

Yeah it looks like I missed this contest too but I will also post just for fun.
1) My dad or my little brother. My dad instilled the love of baseball in me since I was a kid and my little brother has really helped me gain a lot of interest in this hobby.
2) I don't live anywhere close to a MLB team but I try to make it to at least one game a year. This year, I was able to go to Phoenix to watch the Yankees.
3) I nominate JohnRhyno! He seems like a great guy and very helpful.

Rather than start a new thread on the winners, I figured I'd just update this here and slow-roll it until each one is made. I'll update the original post as well, to show the winners.
My wife had a hand in selecting who should be selected, and why. It was VERY difficult to not pick some vs. others, because frankly, I'd like to see a custom done for almost ALL of the requests, but alas, these take a boat load of time.
Up first: The user @stone193.
He was an easy person to select. Why? Because he was nominated over and over again on one of the forums I frequent.
I reached out to Mike first, to see if he even wanted a custom card, and he said absolutely. He shared an idea with me: A 1963 Fleer Mickey Mantle. The '63 Fleer set is iconic, and has a cult following in spite of several BIG name hall of famers not making it into the set. The 1963 Fleer set consists of 66 cards, and ... you guessed it. Mantle was not one of them!
Well, now he is.
So, Mike. Here you go! Your custom '63 Fleer Mantle. It is on its way!

This next card is something that I was on the fence about, and my wife said it must be included. So, here it is. The Big Cat! And I'm not talking about Andres Galarraga, either! I'm talking about 15 pounds of feline fury. I introduce to you: ECHO.
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/echo.jpg
Echo is Glen87's pet beloved by his entire family - especially his daughter. An interesting point on this is that both Echo and Glen's daughter were characters in a fairly well known novel "Three Can Keep a Secret".

These customs are really amazing, mouschi.
Working quickly and still being able to put out quality work is the real test for any graphic artist worth his salt. I can speak from experience. Really nice stuff.

I made a post about this already that goes more in depth, but for consistency's sake, here it is:
The next winner is Phillies_Joe. He was nominated by several folks, and had me do a custom of his family. In addition to that, he sent me an autographed baseball of Aaron Nola and some money to do a booklet. Here is the final result!
http://mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/cheesman4.jpg
I liked it so much, I made something similar out of a game used baseball I had for my own collection:

This isn't a part of the contest, but while I'm waiting for the last 2 people to send me material, I thought I'd post my latest project here:
You know you have a problem when you are chasing the entire set of 2007 Topps Barry Bonds Home Run History. 756 cards of stressful, anxious goodness. The thought of doing something like that growing up would have given me great dreams and horrible nightmares. Imagine trying to complete an entire set of 1989 Topps, but instead of 99% of the cards being commons, they are all of the best player in the world.
You know you REALLY have a problem when 756 cards simply is not enough. I was approached by someone (I forgot which forum and username, so please speak up if you want to be known!) saying it bothered them that there weren't cards to commemorate 757-762. (I agree!) This is where our adventure starts.
After my standard message of "I don't do company logos and all my work has to say custom art card on the back", I came up with this:
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bonds1.jpg
Looks pretty good, eh?
He wrote and said "Tanner, I have an idea! How about having a logo? Something to commemorate it is for Bonds? Something like: BBHRK.
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bondslogo.jpg
And I was like ... GREAT IDEA!
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bondslogo2.jpg
He loved it and then asked for the HR total in the back to be gold for card #762. I didn't want to just do gold though; I wanted it to POP. Here is what I came up with:
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bonds762a.jpg
"Tanner, I love it so much, please do the gold for each card!"
YOU BET!
I won't bore you with EACH picture, but here are a few. This is what they all look like in general:
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bonds757.jpg
With the exception of...
JOHN CENA!!!!!!!!!!
I mean ...
THE SUPERFRACTOR!!!!
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bondssuper.jpg
Here they all are together:
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bondsall.jpg
And the backs ....
http://www.mycollectionofcards.com/baseballcards/092016/bondsback.jpg
It took me a while, but I figured I'd do the right thing and send them to him (though I would definitely not mind keeping these!) :)
Next winner coming soon. Stay tuned!

A huge thanks to Tanner! I received the custom of my stepfather today... I couldn't be more impressed by the craftsmanship and quality! To any of you, like myself, who have a hard time figuring out the perfect gift for your father, brother, son, etc... hire Tanner to make a custom! You definitely won't be disappointed!!!!!

Well...I sure did. :D
Maybe it's because HEB has a monopoly on the San Antonio area, but I don't know how anyone can shop anywhere else. HEB is the best.

It has been a while since the contest has wrapped up, but I didn't hear from the final winner until this past week. The final card has been made, and now we can put a cap on this.
The final winner is none other than our very own Houdini! He did not enter himself because he is an Admin, however he was nominated by someone else.
I have laughed (a lot) with the back and forth on many of the cards in this contest, and it was truly a joy to be able to create each and every card in the contest for everyone, but this ended up being the most significant piece.
This card is of Leoneez. For those of you who aren't familiar with her, please take the time to read these threads:

Houdini sent a thumbdrive with some pics, and 2 of the many mis-matched socks she liked to wear. Here is what I came up with:

He wanted a some extras as well, which I was happy to do:

The cards arrived safely and I cannot thank you enough.
I haven't been able to post because I do not have the words.
I don't know if I told you all the story, but she loved to wear mis-matched socks.
Without an immune system, she was prone to infections. Getting transfusions of blood and platelets daily is very risky - even for a healthy person. She developed a particularly nasty blood infection in the beginning of 2015 and the hospital did not catch it in time. This blood infection led to essentially a stroke - a loss of oxygen to her brain that caused severe damage. They hooked her up to an EEG. After a week they told us she would never wake up, she would never recover - they advised turning off the machines that were keeping her alive.
In order to cope with this, I developed a daily routine. I brought a brand new pair of socks to the hospital every day. I rubbed her hands and feet with lotion and then I put a new pair of mis-matched socks on her feet. Then I would stroke her forehead and read to her for hours and hours. About 2 weeks into this routine, while I was reading her Harry Potter, my little girl woke up.
These were the socks she was wearing that day. Miracle socks.
