With the season coming to an end, for the Angels at least, since the all star break actually lol, I will focus this offseason on getting 1st year bowman chrome auto cards of the hottest players currently in MLB. I've focused so much on Trout, Weaver, Angels that I haven't really looked at other cards/players. This is where I need your help.
What are the top 10 players 1st year BC auto cards I should get? I already have Trout and Kris Bryant (2013) so please don't include these two names as I already got them. All help would be appreciated, thanks.

Not looking at spending over a grand per card.

A card with high value is good. I really don't want to buy a card based on "future value will skyrocket" or whatever other hype sayings people use. Mainly looking at the top 10 right now, despite of future increase/decrease value potential of those cards.

Picking ten is going to be hard for a number of reasons, but good idea for a thread topic.
You could go with the best ten based on the player's career - which includes players who are are the second half of their careers but still have some great chrome autos:
Pujols
Wright
Mauer
Longoria
Price
Verlander
Feliz Hernandez
Hanley Ramirez
Donaldson
You could go with those players who have solidified themselves as studs, but still have many good years left:
Trout
Kershaw
Bumgarner
Posey
Stanton
Freeman
Harper * I know, I know, he stinks this year
Strasburg * I know, I know, he may never pitch again...
Lester
Or you have the list of really great players now that could become even better in a few years and their chromes could really take off:
Correa
Bryant
Machado
Seager
Rizzo
Arenado
Goldy
Bogearts
Betts
Schwarber
Hosmer
Sale
Fernandez
Cole
Harvey
Thor
Or you have the list of guys who might be hot right now and who knows where they will be in 1, 2, 5, 10 years..... Too many to list (Story, Bregman, Sanchez.... all the RCs from 2015 and 2016 basically).

I'm surprised that Trea Turner isn't getting any love on here. I guess people haven't seen enough of him yet. I'd certainly invest in a few of his autos... he has that rare combination of speed (fastest in MLB), power, capability of playing different positions, and is hitting for a very high BA right now. Couple these traits with the fact that he plays for a 1st place team, I think he's a no-brainer as an investment.

Lol
His refractors hit $100 like 20hrs ago. How does he compare with the other names?

I would much rather buy his refractor autos for $100 than the ridiculous money that some of the names mentioned are currently fetching. This is simply my opinion, nobody ever knows for sure who to invest in.

No problemo you can have your opinion, but OP doesn't want future values.

The OP wants the names of the hottest players... I'd put him up there with the hottest. I'm just saying that Trea's cards are still very affordable and might be a worthwhile buy. I understand what you mean, being that he hasn't had enough games under his belt yet. Only time will tell.

Kris Bryant
Mike Trout
Bryce Harper
Nolan Arenado

Chris Sale
Ill never get over Machado Throwing the bat, so I personally wouldn't have him on my list.

I wholeheartedly second this, the kid is nasty. Totally helped out the Nats leadoff problem, solid 5 tool player id say with surprising power for a thin speedy kid. Love watching him play.

I may end up getting 1 or 2 from this list. It never crossed my mind to get some of the older players.

I was wondering if anybody would bring up Trea. Not sure if hes still "too new" to be considered up there with others.

Not auto cards, so it might not meet the cut. But you can get Adrian Beltre and Joey Votto refractors relatively affordably. Both have quietly established hall of fame credentials and don't necessarily get the credit they deserve.

You can subsitute Aledmys Diaz and have the exact same characteristics.A little less speed and significantly more power.
