There are 2 BGS & 1 PSA cards I found through the player population database that I'd like to own. Is there any way to cold contact an owner to see if they'd be interested in sale? Thanks for any help...

I am pretty sure that is a negative. The owner may choose to be anonymous or the card may have changed hands.

Good luck in your search

If you can find the PSA card in the set registry it's possible that you can contact the owner. Needle in the haystack though.

Not if you just found it in the Population Reports. You can't even see the certification number.
As rcmb said, if it's linked to an active registry set, you can send a message to the owner through their registry set page, but I am not sure if it forwards to their email or not.

Another option would be to check vcp to see if that card sold in the past, and then send the seller a message asking to forward your contact info to the buyer for a finders fee.

It wouldn't have to be linked. But it would have to be the only one in that grade and be in a set registry somewhere - and it could be in any number of sets. But the owner would have to make his set viewable and have the email link so you could get in contact. I found a card that way but couldn't email the owner.

If its in a registry then there is a good chance the owner does not want to get rid of it.

I appreciate all the info - seems like I'm not going to be able to get in contact with the owners - as they are either 1/1 or /5 and not part of major set registries...
