Looks good.. I like that it's more focused on his personal story and not just another blockbuster superhero movie. Looking forward to seeing if x23 evolves out of this, that would be amazing and a start to introducing Marvels new characters.

That looks EPIC!!! Of course, you can't go wrong with Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt" in your trailer.

The Johnny Cash video/song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vt1Pwfnh5pc) is one of the most powerful videos ever. No surprise they attempt to cash in on the emotional appeal.

Totally agree. There's a group called 2 Cellos that did an amazing cover of Hurt as well. Great song.

I'm excited for the new movie but saddened at the same time because it'll be Hugh Jackman's final appearance as Wolverine. He'll be a tough one to recast. And no matter what anyone says, X-23 can never replace Logan.

We all love Hugh Jackman now, but man I remember when he was cast. Many hated it because of his height.
It didn't take long for everyone to love him and forget the height thing. I just wanted to see the cigar myself.
I am really hoping they put the twist in from Old Man Logan it will make the movie that more traumatic.

I'm surprised that there are no comments about this movie yet. I just saw it last night and thought it was fantastic. Probably a solid 9/10. Nothing beats X-Men DOFP or X2 United for me, but this earns a very respectable spot just because it is so different from the typical superhero movie. It doesn't follow the Old Man Logan comic mini-series exactly (because of character licensing issues), but if you've read the books, there are some loose similarities and a nice twist to the story.
Also, X-23 is a badass and her fight scenes are incredible. Very comparable to Hit Girl from the first KickAss movie.

I don't think the movie opened until today. You'll probably see some feedback tomorrow about it.

Saw the movie today and enjoyed it. There were a few similarities to the comic story line, but is pretty much its own story.

I saw it yesterday and was VERY impressed....
Definitely up there as one of the better superhero movies, but not really a "superhero movie" if you know what I mean.
Definitely full of surprises, and FYI: no "stingers" after the credits

I enjoyed the movie, but thought it lacked a few aspects that could have made it a GREAT movie. I liked the story, but thought the pacing could be improved and that overall it was just too dark. The limited comic relief, if you could call it that, was misplaced.
I did like that they took the violence up a notch. I thought that was overdue for a Wolverine film. I also liked the nod to the X-Men comic books. That was a nice touch. The girl who played Kinney was a great fit, and her fight scenes were awesome to watch.
Lack of a post credit scene was disappointing. I can see why they did it, but it's also the franchise that invented the after credit scenes we've grown to look forward too. I also feel that the left the door wide open for Jackman to reprise his role, both by the time frame the film was set in and the possibility that he could still be alive under those rocks.

Saw it over the weekend. It was dark, depressing, brutal, violent. I loved it.

I finally saw it last night with a buddy that doesn't follow comics but enjoys comic movies. He really enjoyed it.
It was definitely dark. The violence was warranted and fit the characters perfectly. I thought the pacing was a bit slow and found myself thinking "is this almost over?" But overall, I enjoyed it. I liked watching Laura kick butt. And the introduction to some of the "new" mutants was cool too. I thought the end scene was touching.
