The '14 Limited intrigues me - never busted any

The '14 Prizm case for $300 is definitely on my radar - do you guys think this is a good price? I know this was available last year, but I don't remember the price....anyone know?

I picked up several '14 Select last year, but think its a bit more expensive this year than last.


Anyway.....what do you all think?

I picked up a 2014 Prizm case last year for $299 (that was their doorbuster price).

It was a decent case for the fun-part. Don't expect to make money or anything crazy like that.

My best hits were a Tom Savage Gold Auto, Bortles Base Auto and an ODB Red Parallel.

This is my 3rd or 4th year doing the BF thing....so knew it would be fast.

I had already logged into my BO shop acct and I am on my PC that keeps my CC info so all I have to do is add the 3 digit code and it processes it.

Literally if you are not in front of your computer when it hits you wont get it.

The 20 pack hobby of 2014 is pretty sad though. The jumbo's were really nice, but the regular hobby was pretty weak. Not much color.

Yes, I was referring to the NFL version as well. $299 is a great price on that case, don't get me wrong. I've been in a ton of group breaks with these 20 pack hobby boxes, and they were pretty poor.

I nabbed a box of that 2011 Press Pass Legends for $40, granted there are redemption "bombs" in it, but I've seen a lot of sweet non redemption hits in it too.

Understandable, that stuff sells all day. I'm looking forward to some of the lower end stuff going real cheap. BO shines with that stuff on Black Friday.

Oh, and I think the 2014 & 2015 Prizm stuff is under-rated ATM. 2016 Prizm has already taken hold now the Chrome is gone, and I feel people have already begun grabbing up older Prizm stuff.

Chrome Mini, on the other hand, is one of the most fun breaks ever created and should be selling for a good bit more than it does, even after recognizing that mini cards aren't as desirable.

I agree. They also limited the 2014 Chrome to 2 boxes per household. As hard as it was to pull anyone good I wouldn't buy it unless it was at 2014 Prizm prices. At least they put 2015 out there at a case level but $700 still felt steep to me. All that being said I am a cheapskate to start with!

I bought in for the first time this year, i noticed that some of the doorbuster prices were still the same at 8 p.m. and some wentvup only like 5 bucks. I guess If they sold the allotment they had earmarked for a certain price was gone bo still had great deals just not as drastic as some of the savings

Underwhelmed again this year. I was hoping to grab some more 2014 Panini Select Football for 29.99 like last year, but they jacked that up. It was mostly the same stuff being "reloaded" all day. So I didnt buy anything from BO.

The other big site had their sale as well. Almost everything is still available at those Black Friday (and now Cyber Monday) prices. When its been 4 days and your "sale" items are sitting at 95% remaining that tells you how great your "deals" are LOL.

I did pick up a case of 2013 Panini Certified for like $225 on a random site. I know its junk but a fun rip for under 30 a box.

I ended up spending $500 on COMC though, I love the no haggle bottom price listings and free shipping to boot!
