I caved in & got 1 too. My 1st case, figured it was a safe bet ... Cards looks nice enough, though re-sale value for parallels/rookies seems weak.

Only 1 Auto / Case but looking at the checklist online they're all good players, except a few. There's even an inscriptions auto insert set which I didn't even know about :)

You actually typically get 2 autos per inner and the checklist is decent. Also some vet numbered stuff does sell ok. For $160 you should get at least $40 back minimum just from the 2 autos. You will get a lot of $5-$10 cards that you don't realize will sell. This is not a bad case break at $160 at all.

Surprisingly No. I checked Ebay & a case hit Bronze Parallel on KAT just sold for $50 !! .... The cards look nice in pictures though so that should help the long-term value of the cards to at least be stable. Most of the Autos are of Big Names too so that can easily recap 1/4 - 1/2 of the case price.

They reloaded 13/14 Timeless Treasures. Bought a 10 boxer. Price was up $40 from last year, but Rookie class is getting a littler better, I guess.

Just pulled the Porzingis bronze, threw it on for 100obo , did get a 57.00 offer. Figured being a nice looking rare rookie of a great player , declined.



As for the deals today, got shut out twice, net went down on the third try. Ended up grabbing a box of 2015 -16 gold standard for 117, and a couple prime sigs 2016 football for 25 each.

It is non-sport but the Hobbit stuff seems to be a quick mover at $30 a box. You can look at recently ended ebay auctions and see sealed boxes selling in the $50-$60 range recently. Seems like another great deal.

I saw them too. I got boxes from both sides; I would say the other site, with fewer basketball offers, had a big advantage because shipping was free at 99. I pass on some boxes because adding shipping would stop making them a good deal and was not willing to spend 200 on them.

And yeah, when BO released cheaper prices, they adjusted theirs too. It cost me 10 bucks on a couple of Prestige boxes from last season since I bought them before they changed it.

I thought some of the deals were meh - I think Luxe is still too expensive at 80 and Clear Vision and Timeless Treasures are still a bit too expensive with few cards to chase at that price. But the rest was nice - especially Elite, Past & Present, Prestige Plus and Excalibur.

The timeless treasures is still a GOOD deal, but not great. I got a GREAT deal.

You won't know if you got MAJOR STEALS until you make bank a few months from now if you watch the price points you bought in go up exponentially.

I think I could get 40 bucks a box for timeless treasures and 35 bucks a box on the press pass.
The Bucks/Gianni's need more hype/sustained hype for prices to go up or other stars from 13-14 to break out
The press pass junk has multiple superstar autos already in MILLER, GREEN, DALTON, CAM, ETC.

Thats because in BKB it is all hot and doesn't need to be discounted to move. Most the stuff discounted was dead stock that had no chance to move at the listed prices.

I kinda agree... but depends what your buying for. If your just reselling the wax, you can make a few bucks on it. If your a fan, just lets to collect/not resell everything, there are some fun breaks. If your opening these just to flip in hopes of a big card, you may or may not be in luck. (same as any other product)

Also kinda surprise no hype for the 12-13 Select at 145$ i think it was. 4 Autos... Got a shot at something nice.

I ended up spending my money on a 2x blaster cases of prizm basketball 16-17. Fun rip. Good price.
