Collecting Sports Cards costs money (obviously). But there are ways to make the hobby cheaper on your wallet. One of my ideas are

-Instead of Buying Wax, pick up singles from the set in the Dime Box

Any other ideas?

Buy larger collections and single them out. I do that in the summer when I'm not teaching. You probably won't become rich, but it's fun to do for me.

Great advice. I am also a teacher and you're right, it's a fun summer project. It takes time, but if you set up your listings professionally you can absolutely make a profit.
