I tried contacting the seller, eBay and Paypal and the issue I am dealing with is going no where, so I am seeking the forums for suggestions and advice. Here is what happened:

**FYI: I am handling this issue for a friend**

2015-16 PANINI NOIR ANDREW WIGGINS /49 AUTOGRAPHS GOLD AUTO TIMBERWOLVES RARE SP | eBay (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/2015-16-PANINI-NOIR-ANDREW-WIGGINS-49-AUTOGRAPHS-GOLD-AUTO-TIMBERWOLVES-RARE-SP-/331990647472)

The card above was won through auctions on October 11 and paid October 12.[See picture for reference] However, the payment shows pending on eBay(and still does), although money was taken out of the Paypal account. The seller eventually opens a non-paying dispute and relists the card and sold it to someone else. [This is important for later on]

Relisted card:

It's important to note that the address my friend used was a COMC Mailbox.

A month later, the funds are still held so my friend opens a Paypal claim in hopes of getting his money back. Now here is where it gets interesting.

The seller provides a tracking number to Paypal and it shows delivered so Paypal closed the case in favor of the seller. I message the seller and was pretty pissed because I thought the seller just submitted a random tracking number for another transaction that had a COMC mailbox mailing address and claimed it has the tracking number for the card my friend had won. The seller responded saying we are trying to scam him. Again, I thought it was just a tactic the seller was using by denying and saying we are the ones who lied.

I thought it through and to give the seller the benefit of the doubt, would it be possible that by coincidence, the buyer that purchased the card the 2nd time, after it was relisted, also used a COMC mailbox?

That would be the only possible reason as to why Paypal claims it was delivered to the right address with the same City, State and Zip Code because that's what it shows on the tracking. That would be the only possible reason why the seller would say he already shipped the card to my address and it was delivered. But that would only make sense if the seller is not familiar with how COMC works and thinks we are the same buyer simply because we use the same mailing address and not noticing that the username matters. So he may have used the tracking number on the sale of relisted card as a tracking number for the Paypal claim I had filed. The seller sells sports cards on the daily and has over 1000 feedback, so I don't know how likely it is that he does not know the concept of COMC. Again, benefit of the doubt.

At this point, I do not know what to do. eBay shows payment pending, but Paypal cannot access that information. Since the seller provided tracking to Paypal showing delivery to a COMC Mailbox address, the Paypal claim was closed. If Paypal had access to information on the eBay side, they would quickly identify that the payment was made but payment still shows pending on the eBay system.

If anyone on here won the card or knows who won it, can you please contact me.

Any input, advice or suggestions is much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my thread.

The eBay system still states the payment as pending, why is this after more than a month? Does the error have anything to do with the fact that payment was in fact pending, but seller had already filed a non-paying dispute and it was closed, so the system never completed updating. If that's the case, why was my friend still charged from Paypal?

What were the dates on the tracking in regards to when payment was made? This would clear up a few things I am wondering.

Also usually if payment is pending you cannot open an unpaid item claim or a non-paying bidder claim.

What were the dates on the tracking in regards to when payment was made?

The 1st listing of the card was never sent out because seller claimed payment was not made, so there was no tracking. Payment was actually made on Oct. 12.

The relisted card ended auction on Oct 29.

This is the tracking seller provided as proof that the card was delivered to my friend's COMC Mailbox:
https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction?qtc_tLabels1=9400109699938888543272

Tracking shows item shipped Oct. 31 and arrived Nov 3. Because the completed auction of the relisted card was so close in time with the tracking seller provided, this led me to believe he took the tracking after shipping to the winner of the relisted Wiggins and used the same tracking as proof for our Paypal claim.

Looks like it may have been put up for sale or at least into someone's inventory on COMC.

You should call ebay first, seller shouldn't kept your money then cancelled the transation.
