How good could this guy be when he figures it all out. His athletic ability is off the charts.

I remember a thread about this earlier, on how a QB rookie turns into a WR stud.

No matter what, he revived his career from moving to WR

I'm super impressed with Pryor but changing positions is hardly new. Edelman was drafted as a qb as well if I'm not mistaken

True, but Pryor was a starting QB in the league for a couple years and switched in 2015

Because he was not a very good QB in the NFL. He had to change and adapt or be left without a job.

Edelman was a QB in college but was drafted as a WR/return specialist.

I wish the Pats would have signed him last year when he came to NE for a tryout. I guess they thought he was fast and big but didn't think he'd really pan out too well. I'd have to say Bill misjudged that one.

I meant on how much he had to change level

Still mad the seahawks let him go. Was excited about his athletecism and size which is still sorely needed in our receiving corps.

So do the Browns tag Pryor to keep him and use it as way to work out long term deal? Probably looking at 15+ million for FT and 13+ million for TT to use them.

I read some article the other day about how the Browns may trade a 1st round pick for Jimmy G. They have the Eagles pick also so they will probably have the #1 pick and like the 15th overall. That would be a wise move for the Browns if they could get great defensive player at #1 and Jimmy G. for the other pick. They might be able to crawl out of the cellar.

Stupid move IMO he has not shown that he's worth a 1st round pick. I can't see any other team offering that up for him so let him sit aonther year in NE then sign him when he is a FA. Otheriwse offer at most a 2nd for him Can't see any other of the teams who might want him offering up their high first for him.

Teams are starved for quarterbacks and there's no one special in the upcoming draft. He won't sit in NE for another year and walk away with them getting nothing. They will offer him up to the highest bidder. Look what the Viking gave up for Bradford. They may not get 2 picks but i bet they get a 1st for him.

Crawling out of the cellar is a little optimistic...

Hey, it will happen eventually right? I feel bad for the Browns how bad they've been forever. I'd like to see them competitive again.

As long as they have a meddling owner who does not know what he's doing they won't be good.

That's why most teams won't be good because a owner signs the checks it makes them think they should call the shots. Good owners signs the checks but hires someone who knows what they are doing to run the team. Jerry it seems like has his son who actually knows what he is doing there know to help influence his father. If not for his son the Cowboys probably are drafting Johnny Manziel and having him start for them right now. LOL

Think Jimmy G is worth about a 2-3 rounder ..

Jimmy G= 7th-6th conditional, nothing special about him, probably a camp arm or clip board man.

Count me as one who thought he was decent at best. He is a lot of fun to watch now

Not to mention the 62 catches for 855 yards and 4 TD's, plus one rushing TD so far is with a bunch of hot garbage at QB.

He will get way more than that.

The guys claiming jimmy g is bum.. watch some football.. in his few starts hes already displayed more than a lot of starting qbs around the league.. atleast half of em. He will definately be highly sought after whether in trade or as a free agent. But what ever happened to montana and manning?

He's been really good as a WR. Tebow should of did the same thing. I truly think he could of been a top 10 tight end in the league. He had the build and good enough speed.

Back to Pryor.... He's the only good thing about watching the Browns.

He's a legit WR's and not just an athlete out there. If they can ever get a QB and an Oline to give him time, Pryor could really put on a show.
