Lots of them are nice but out of my price range like Immaculate and Impeccable. Prizm, Donruss, Origins and Elite were all great products this year. But just like every year there is either a flagship product that gets worse like Certified or just some random fodder like Phoenix, Infinity, Unparalleled etc

It started out bad with a lackluster prestige and a horde of previews where everything looked the same but the last few releases have been more solid.

2016 Panini Origins is a solid product. In fact it's in the running for release of the year as far as I'm concerned. And this is coming from someone who swore they would never open any 2016 Panini product, no way no how.

Pulling an on card Dak Prescott auto and an on card Zeke Elliott auto in back to back boxes will do that.

I think immaculate eventually starts to bring a premium (not Basketball levels).

They keep rookie checklist solid and keep throwing these kind of Vet cards in the mix it will take the top dog spot at some point.

i agree with this. Having said that, Their Prizms actually look nice. For nearly a decade now, Topps has found as many ways as possible for them to save money on the cost of chrome base cards. Starting with 2007 BCDP (baseball), they have slowly removed ETCHING from as many releases as possible. This years Prizm NFL has a nice amount of etching

They were able to do it in NBA last year, but that meant College cards with on-card autos in PRO product. That wouldnt help NFL Prizm much (see: the dog that is College Prizm)

In all honesty, as we near 2017, the time of "stickers" really needs to be a thing of the past.

Not sure how long youve been collecting, but ive been doing this for 35+ years now, and i can say that with the way the market is now, they CAN move towards eliminating stickers, if not for greed

Close, since 87 until early 90's but a big gap in between until a few years ago. It was strange to me that everything was based around autos when i got back into it but im used to it now. Back then 80's early 90's we didn't have autos. I mainly collected baseball.

Donruss, Score, Retail Panini, Classics and Prestige are great brands (at least to me)
