Ok, I posted some Prizm and Hoops cards a few days ago, mostly tougher inserts and rookies. These are cards that consistently sell, and I have them priced very fairly. Pics are good. I've been selling for 15 years and have over 2500 feedbacks. I've got 2-3 views on most of them. I find that hard to believe. What the hell is going on with eBay?

Who knows. Maybe people are out buying electronics.
Views on cards are very low..especially if not auctions.

Yeah, these are all BIN with free shipping. Maybe I need to switch to auctions.

This. I totally ignore BINs unless it's an absolute steal. Add Best Offer and you might get some more views.

I've been finding low end stuff is just not catching anyones attention. I've been grabbing really nice low end cards at absolute steal prices. The flip side is i've been getting completely blown out of the water on high end stuff. Seems like the money is consolidating.

I don't touch BINs at all either. Unless it's a 1/1 or something where you have no choice, i'll just wait for another to pop on auction or with a BO option.

Why not give a best offer? I have tons of things listed with BO... Nothing super huge at the moment, and mostly low end, but I've sold cards for $8-10, when ran at auction may not get bids at .99, or they do sell that low...Why do that??... What's the worst that can happen, your offer is declined??..

I can't speak for him, but at least in my personal experience everytime I make reasonable offers they just get ridiculously counter offered for silly amounts so I generally don't waste my time anymore.

This past weekend was horrible for view counts. I only sold a couple things, as well. :(

The past month has been my worst ever on eBay. No views, no offers, and even auctions consistently underselling. I hope this isn't a long term pattern.

Any chance COMC is making a dent in eBay card activity? I know I've sent quite a lot there, and perhaps others have as well

My sales have actually ticked up. From about 5 a day to 7 or 8.

I agree here. Seems super slow. I have a gretzky RC and MJ RC posted with best offers. very few offers and My ask is about the lowest for anyone on ebay too for the MJ. The gretzky sales have quite a range so i am asking on the higher end but still, barely a peep.

Every year in late November early December things slow down for me. If it is selling or filling breaks it does not matter it all slows down as people are spending their money elsewhere. Be it for Christmas or grabbing Black Friday deals this is typical for me this time of year. It will come back around especially once those tax refunds hit.

i agree here. Which is a bummer because i need to move some higher end stuff and hate to take such low prices.

It's my experience with low end cards that "reasonable offers" are usually accepted.

I've had a bit more of an opposite experience. I've almost given up on auctions because with some persistence, I'm usually able to get what I'm looking for below market with OBO.

I agree. I don't get all the posters that say they don't even look at them.. I rarely list auctions anymore..

It's been similar for me as well, not just with cards but with my gear auctions (selling some new Nike stuff from tennis camps I worked over the summer and some used stuff because, well, my apartment has NO storage and I need to get rid of clothes but goodwill is a scam so I figured I could pad my paypal/card-buying slush fund :P ). Rough past several weeks. Maybe people saving up for Christmas? I just sold a pair of shoes for $90 today, which paid for an MJ I unexpectedly won a few days ago, so that helped!

definitely a buyer's market compared to earlier in the year.
On the topic of ebay listings, does anyone know if you send your BIN listing to auction, if it counts as a new listing against your free listings per month or is it the same listing?

Been just the opposite for me. Have had lots of views and some record sales number the last few months.
