I had to have an oil change done on my company car and reached into he glovebox to get the paper work. I saw some toploaders and took them out. One of the top loaders had a Sano Prizm Draft Tye-die Sano Auto in in. Sweet card in its own right, but the other card made me take a double take. Saw the back and it was a Score #337 of Dak Prescott. Turned the card over and it was number 35/50 gold Auto. Wow!

You find more good cards than I actually pull.
I pulled a Griffey Sweet Spot Glove Autograph in my truck and dropped it between the seat. One dinged up corner later and I had learned my lesson.

And I have NEVER purchased a case of anything. Boxes, packs and singles have been my mantra...

Now that is a find, who doesn't open packs in their car. One time I thought I was shorted a pack in a blaster and was going thru my car at a later date found the pack of topps chrome nothing huge but it did have a Khalil Mack camo rc out of 499.

The great part of this story is his flash in the pan hadn't already came and gone! By "misplacing" it you'll probably get a lot more for it now than you would have at the time you pulled it lol

So you guys really think he just misplaced the cards and happened to find them now? And this same guy just happens to do this all the time?

Yes - been there done that. Do it all the time with common autos I pull. Some turn out, some don't.

Why is it so hard to believe? Not everyone opens packs and immediately flip them. I have over 20'years of box breaks. Some stuff you hit and just hold. Let's be honest, Dak was not a big name pull and could have been a bust. Anyway...enjoy collecting!

I mean, it's definitely plausible that this happened. When I was busting wax all the time, I pulled a lot of cards that I set aside in commons and lo and behold, they ended up being somewhat valuable down the road and I had completely forgot about them.
I pulled a Dak Prescott Certified patch/auto when it first came out and set it aside with the commons because the Romo thing hadn't happened yet. Then he was announced the starter and I was randomly looking through my 2016 pulls and found it. So it can definitely happen...
But if it's a constant thing involving the flavor of the month players, then who knows.

Bass. When I pulled it Dak was just a mid-round MSU QB, but when I pulled his Prizm Base Auto redemption I did not leave in the car. Nor did I leave the Certified 2 color 4 break Dak I pulled, or the Contenders /15 Ezekiel I pulled, or the Wentz Contenders /99 I pulled, or the Ezekiel Elite Series RC auto /50 redemption I pulled.
I actually pull lots more nothing cards that end up in boxes in the closet or yes glovebox to keep them damage free until I get home, but sometimes life and work takes over. LOL!

Dont take me wrong, Im not making any accusations, I just find it funny because I can account for like all 100 thousand commons that I own, never mind my $$ cards..
Its all good.. you made me giggle. :)
Its a nice card..

Prizm has been great this year. Even pulled a Peyton Manning in Colts uniform /10 from it this year and no that is not in the car, but on my desk.

Hope you joking, but I laughed
Man I cannot account for the majority of pulls that are not hot when I pull them. If the player is hot, I usually can put my fingers on the card immediately, but since I began as a basketball collector then went to baseball and football, lots of the hits are hold cards.

I do not "store" them in glove box, just put them there. This card just happened to be forgotten because it was under some paperwork. As a traveling salesman that is the best place to keep them until I get home. Sometimes we do forget things...lol...I am laughing throughout this thread....nothing taken serious or accusative even if some are doing so...
Rev...never forget it is a hobby first....
Good luck to all of you guys as you open product

I'm with you Rev. Hundreds, yes hundreds, of cards have been put in my console of my truck to be found later.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Billions of people in the world, just because it doesn't happen in your tiny world doesn't mean it doesn't happen to millions of others.

yes...most will not believe this because it has never happened to them. I open boxes and packs of cards as a hobby, not necessarily to make money. It is great when I hit a card that I can turn a profit on, but when it all balances off it is still a loss considering all the dead packs opened. Had I even remembered I pulled Dak, trust me it would have been sold before now, as I did with EZE and WENTZ and the one other Dak I pulled.
I sell cards because I want to, not because I have too.

I wonder if I did that how many of the "doubters" would actually try to win...LOL.
The money from this card will go toward upgrading my golf bag...settling on the TaylorMade M2 Driver.

I actually believe the OP, mainly because I have opened packs of cards in my vehicle, tossed them in the glove box, and forgot about them for a few months until I happened to open my glove box up again.
Nice finds.
