anyways on another point, topps is still allowed to release digital cards even without their contract? how these contracts work must be pretty confusing....

I am completely baffled by these digital cards. Couldn't anyone just take a digital photo of a card or copy this image and fake these cards?? I would never want something I can't physically obtain, hold, and examine anyway.

There is a long-term deal between the NFL/NFLPA and Topps Huddle. The contract is specifically for the digital product.

Yeah I feel that way about my music but love the digital game of huddle though lol while I am sitting in the mancave watching football :D

They are traded within the app, there's no way to fake the card and trade a faked card.

I haven't played the game for several years but Madden had a mode called ultimate Madden where you could buy packs of cards etc. where the players had different abilities. At least there i could see getting something in return out of the digital cards kind of.

Huddle is an app for your phone or your Ipad. You get 10k "coins" for just opening the app everyday and for 7 consecutive logins you get 25k coins. You buy packs with coins. You can also buy coins for real money. The app has contests like fantasy football every week you can use your cards to play.

the WWE topps slam app is well worth farming for turning some of the rare variants into real money. i can't believe people actually pay $50 for a "digital auto" of a wrestler but they have and do. that brady allen & ginter is beautiful but i can just save a screenshot on my phone and get the same satisfaction!
