If it's just a broken bone (clean break in shin as reported), then I think Earl Thomas is just very emotional right now. A few days ... he'll be back. Only 27, not a bad injury and a guy that isn't used to being hurt having played 7 seasons in a row w/o missing a game.

I agree. He probably just got caught up in the moment. Unless he's just lost the desire to play or has other life goals in mind, it'd be hard to imagine someone with his skill set would retire in arguably the prime of his career.

We are what our record says we are and that is a bad team. We have an absolutely atrocious offensive line and the GM is to blame. There wasn't any competition in training camp along the line even though they got destroyed in the Super Bowl. Our GM lets a shutdown corner walk without getting ANYTHING for him. Our defensive line has underperformed all year, especially KK after his huge year last year. Our corners are both rookies and theres no veterans for them to go to for help.

He at best gives them another .50 win IMO, but the GM decided to untag I doubt Josh would have sat all season, so nice try on the GM with his we can fill holes with draft guys philosophy. Just because it worked once doesn't mean it will again. :coffee::coffee:

Teams were throwing money at defensive players during the offseason, like the Giants did with Jenkins and so he was wondering why the Panthers were shortchanging him. Gettleman believes he can replace pretty much anybody and this time it backfired on him.

Its really sad that Carolina regressed this badly after Super Bowl run! I still don't think Cam is the answer for the team. Yes they have so many other problems! But after they were 8-0 last season, they were underdogs! Finally they were being taken seriously before the Atlanta loss. It is sad that in 2017, they will have to start all over as underdogs again!
