This is the first time I have ever had this happen so I'm not sure what my options are.

I have France on my excluded shipping locations but somehow a buyer from France won an auction. I have a case opened but do I have any other options? What happens if the buyer rejects my case? Do I have to ship?

How did this bid even get allowed?

Thanks for your help.

Just go in and cancel it. Don't know what you mean by case unless you mean cancelled. Either way if all else fails call ebay. If its not a place you ship to and its known, then there shouldn't be any issues.

eBay asked me if I wanted to open a case to cancel.

It appears the buyer needs to agree to cancel.

What happens if they do not agree?

If they don't agree, you get charged a final value fee from eBay. Same thing happened to my mom last week. Her buyer agreed to cancel so she was in the clear. I'm sure you could place a phone call to eBay to negate final value fees if the buyer doesn't agree to cancel.

Thanks...that doesn't seem fair. If France is on my excluded list then on did the bid get allowed? Frustrating!

If a person bids with a US address, the system will let them bid.

If they then change their address to a house in France; and win the auction, the address you are suppose to send the card to will be the French address.
