The COMC submission progress percentage

Does anyone know the breakdown of COMC's progess tracker? I'm going to guess that 5% means "we've received it." I'm just curious because I thought that it was strange. 5% makes it seem like some of my cards are already processed. (Example: On a 100-card submission I should be pricing 5 cards.) I think it would be clearer if they had a status like "received" or "241 of 590 cards processed." Just my random thoughts on it.:D

5% received, 10-15% seems to be when you get the damage email.

Well, if they've counted all your cards and loaded them in toploaders, then they've done some quantity of work processing your order. So you've never used Microsoft Project?

I think 5% is they looked at your box
10% they looked at it again
35% they're actually working on it
then there's done
it's kinda meaningless

Ever since they changed how they process the cards and they no longer process by batch/transaction, the percentages are pretty much meaningless; I have transactions from 2012 that are still at 99%. ignore that percentages, keep good notes on how many cards you send it and and keep an eye on the number of cards that are processed. That'll be more accurate than anything COMC can tell you...

Just an update: Submission is at 20% and no rejections so far. Let's see how this goes :)

Yesterday they added about 13 cards from my shipment and bumped the percentage up to 60%. Today another 300ish were added and my percentage goes to 61%. My total shipment was about 715 cards. Let's see how it goes. Still no rejections. :)
