I am curious what some of you may suggest. I was trying to avoid selling them separately because they aren't worth all that much individually. I listed them in a lot on Craigslist in an attempt to avoid having to ship them. All together there are around 80 comics, all of which are modern age. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

You can try LetGo too. Never used it but look at it occasionally lol You can also list them on Ebay and just use the local pickup option.

I had a stack of 50+ comics that I found at the goodwill for a quarter each. I picked out 3 books that were worth keeping. Took the rest to the flea market and priced them at $1 each and one guy bought them all within an hour of being there.

Depends on where you live but just do a yard sale or try the flea market.

If you're not willing to go through them, it will be tough to find somebody that is going to pay much more than $0.10/issue for a fairly small lot of moderns that probably doesn't contain anything of value and condition is questionable. Bring the box to your LCS and see if they'll give you $10 for it, or just donate them to a charity, children's hospital, or the like.

Thanks for the input guys. I suppose I should clarify what is in the lot. These are being pulled from my collection to clear up some of the clutter and streamline it bit. They are all in pretty good condition (most are probably NM or better) and have been bagged and boarded the entire time I had them. It includes the full run of Cho Wonder Woman variant covers and some other things that may be somewhat desirable. I suppose I should just split it up into smaller lots or attempt to sell the better ones as singles.

You could always put them up on the B/S/T page here and see if there are any takers. You may be able to move a portion of them if you price them right.

I moved a huge lot on eBay earlier this year (300+).
Set a BIN of $549, + $90 shipping via UPS (shipping actually came to $89.13). Of course, that eBay charge at the end of the month was a kick in the pants.

The biggest challenge was SECURELY packing everything up and sending it off in 3 pieces.

Good luck with whatever you decide. I definitely recommend offering local pick-up on eBay, in case you get a buyer that close.

Sorry, no TMNT stuff at the moment.

I was considering doing that and it is probably something I will ultimately attempt to do.

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought of listing it on eBay and considered the local pickup option as well. My hesitation for selling this many books in any avenue is being able to ship them securely, as you mentioned. Perhaps if I sell them in smaller lots this will allow me to ship more securely and confidently.

In the world of comic book collectors, a quantity of 80 books is not considered a burden of abundance, more like a drop in the bucket, so consider yourself lucky you don't have multiple long boxes of quarter bin fodder.

The easiest way to rid yourself of them is to look up the values, reverse ebay auctions, by seeing completed "sold" prices.

Depending is you need the money or not, and what your time is worth to you, sell them as a "lot" or sub-lots of "like" (commonalities) interest.

If you notice most of your inventory falls into the junk category of books that either have been listed but never sold or are in that under $3 range and not worth your time, then take 'em to your local comic shop to see if they'll take 'em or donate them.

80 books is such a small stack, you can probably pack them into a USPS Priority Mail "Medium" size box and just charge $20 S&H.
