Just had an idea, I'm sure a lot of people here has Junk GU/Auto's lying around. That we can all mess around with. Here's the pitch:
1. We select/vote on 1 person here on the forums that is willing to participate to send all our junk GU's/Auto's to and he holds on to them while the game is in progress. We can all send some $$$ just for shipping, maybe at 5cents/per card.
2. For each GU/Auto that you send, it will be equal to 1 entry. Maybe we should put a cap on the first round (5? or 10?)
3. After we hit 50 cards or so, we do a drawing via a video'd random.org, or a video'd picking out of the hat deal. (again we can vote on this)
4. The video MUST be broadcasted live, not a youtube upload after the drawing is done. By live I mean:
-Having a Yahoo ID and a webcam, we can all sign up and watch it as it happens, we also have a few options on this. (MSN, AIM, YM) - again a vote
5. 1st name pulled gets 60%, 2nd name pulled gets 30%, last name pulled gets 10% of the GU's and Auto's sent in. If we manage 50, that would be 30 for 1st place, 15 for 2nd place, and 5 for last place.
Obviously we would all want to send the crap of the crappiest ones we have. It's hard to sell them individually, but if you manage to nab 30 or more, then it's a bit easier to put on the bay.
In the end, it's just like hosting a group break without spending any money. (just a bit for shipping)
NOTE** We can even hold a voting for the crappiest GU or Auto sent. I'm sure I have a few lying around that might win it. (I buy a lot of UD stuff). LOL. Let me know what you all think, and where I can improve the program.
